Gody overall imo won't be an effective nba player. Too short

Nate Robinson playing badly in this crucial situation also.

It does when you don't have extra ordinary arm length, jump capabilities, speed, incredible talent (deadly 3 point shooter)

Gody is at odds right now vs nba calibre players. Amir Johnson, Alabi were taking him to school every possession. He might of had one lucky game vs the knicks but overall he might just be another Lester Hudson

Big Baby Davis has none of those things listed.

Baby is a lot stronger than Harangody and is also way more athletic. Don't get me wrong Harangody is a very strong guy, but Davis is one of the strongest guys in the league.

Not to mention Davis is playing PF/C as opposed to SF/PF where strength is valued more than athleticism.

Just my two cents...

Since when did Davis become athletic? He has the vert of a credit card.

I'll give Gody the benefit of the doubt ... I think he can come along over the course of the season. He's already getting more comfortable and playing better. I think he'll do fine over five minutes a game or whatever he ends up playing. Plus he's signed so no use questioning if he's NBA ready or not.

I never said he was athletic. Just way more athletic than Harangody. If Davis' vert is a credit card, than Looks must be a piece of paper

Both of them are non athletic little hustle players. Explain Baby Davis's superior athleticism? As if he had any to begin with.

Just noticed I spelled Luke as look, but anyways...

Just look at video, Baby is a more explosive leaper and and is quicker. I am not saying he is Blake Griffin or anything but he is definitely more a leaper than Luke. Obviously this does not constitute every as Harangody has more range, but I think most will agree that Harangody is far less physically gifted than Davis.

davis is athletic. you can't call him a stiff can you? its impossible to believe , but he can hang in the air long enough to double pump a shot in. He has lost at least 5 pounds to start this year and that is great to see. He is also very strong , quick in his feet to make up his shortcomings.

Gody thus far all you can give him is that he hustles and hasn't made many dumb mistakes. He can shoot a little also. If anyone is going to be another Scal he is a perfect candidate .

How bout since he is going to be a part of the "Boston Bench Mob" as Shaq so eloquently named it, Luke Harongody can be known as .... the "GODFather".  Includes part of his last name and incorporates the mafia theme. Of course he might need to actually play in order to warrant a nickname, but just sayin.

I don't get the Scal Harongody comparison.

Scal on the floor is a strange combination of intelligence and deer in the headlights.
Plus good defense.

Gody is an all around basketball player who looks very comfortable.  I'm much more comfortable comparing Gody to Gomes......

Body is similar to gomes in a number of ways. But body I think is stronger, especially underneath the basket. So far I am please with how gody is in position for rebounds and fights hard for them.

Gody will be a good bench player for years to come.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
