Here's one:

Dealing with a bye week at TE (Keller), and not much roster flexibility.

With Torain and Ivory as my starting RBs, I can drop Mike Tolbert. Or, I could dump one of my four WRs (Colston, Ward, S. Moss, Branch).

The following TEs are available:

Moeaki
Winslow
Shiancoe
Shockey

Thoughts? I'm leaning towards dropping Tolbert for Shiancoe.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Josh Freeman cannot be underestimated anymore. Mike Williams in Tampa is now maybe my most consistent WR. I'd go Winslow.

Well #1 if Mike WIlliams from Tampa is still out there, get him. But as far as Mike Tolbert, I dropped him before the games last week. Matthews has that job outright now.

But since you need a TE, of the guys you listed, I'd take Winslow.

Drop tolbert is useless now going fwd unless matthews gets hurt again.

I'd actually start Santana Moss instead of Welker. Welker hasn't looked 100% yet and they'll probably stick Jammer on him.

Going to drop Tolbert this weekend, likely for Winslow.

Re: Boldin, I wouldn't worry too much about your opponent starting Flacco. If anything, it works in your favor if Flacco tosses a TD (4 pts) to Boldin (6 pts).

I'm not giving up on Tolbert yet. I believe he vultures a lot of touchdowns still.

Agreed. I'm hoping to reacquire him next week, assuming he passes through waivers. He's Mike Alstott, version 2.0.

Would you guys trade: Steve Smith (CAR) for Danny Woodhead?

My RB's are:
C. Ivory, Jonathan Stewart, Hightower, Best

My WR's are:
D Jax, Mike Thomas, Amendola, R. Williams

(to be fair to myself I started the season with Grant, Portis, Harrison also)

Definitely keep all 4 WRs. If you feel you have too many WRs you could also do a 2 for 1 trade later and get a RB in return since your RBs seem just ok (Torain and Ivory are good now but might not be good options when Clinton Portis, Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush return from injuries).

I would drop Tolbert, since it looks like Mathews will be getting most if not all of the rushes from now  on. Tolbert will get a one-yard TD here are there but is not a consistent option worth keeping. Pick up Winslow.. they're playing StL. Shiancoe's having a bad season is unreliable.
