I think Shaq likes the idea of playing with Delonte and of course he knows BDD and is getting his fill of Nate these days; but I think he likes being the big dawg on the court rather than deferring to KG or PP.

Good Point. And this post is why I believe that this could work (Shaq starting). KG has never had an issue deferring to anyone, so Shaq(or JO) is good on that point. Same with Pierce.

Neither of these two have played with a Center like Shaq before - even at his age. He brings another dimension (literally and figuratively ;D) to our team - a low-post scoring center, even in his 20-25 min per game.

In that limited time on the floor, I know Shaq could do some damage. And I'll never forget that last season Shaq made both Bynum (when he was healthy) and Gasol rather ineffective in that Christmas day game and in the game in CLE.

Shaq was playing with the starters because Jermaine has been taking it slow to rest his hamstring.
