Chalk, Chalk, Chalk!

Eastern Conference
   Team
(1)   Chicago Bulls   18
(8)   Seattle Sonics   4

(2)   Milwaukee Bucks   16
(7)   Indiana Pacers   6

(3)   Orlando Magic   11
(6)   Atlanta Hawks   11

(4)*   New York Knicks   7
(5)*   Washington Boxers   15
   *Washington has HCA

Western Conference
   Team
(1)   Pheonix Gorrilas   19
(8)   New Orleans Bucs   3

(2)   Utah Jazz   18
(7)   Los Angeles Clippers   4

(3)   Sacramento Kings   15
(6)   Los Angeles Lakers   7

(4)*   Houston Rockets   7
(5)*   Denver Nuggets   15
   *Denver has HCA

The only series that was all that close was Orlando versus Atlanta which actually ended in an 11/11 tie. Per our tiebreaker rules Orlando will win due to HCA and move on to the second round.

So every team with HCA, or the top 4 in each conference has moved on.

There was a lot going on today.  Maybe it would be wise going forward for round 1 to divide it into 2 days: east and west.

Also, I'm not too crazy about how I couldn't even post a defense until after I went to bed (12:45am-ish), but by the time I was finished with work (around 5ish) and got around to being able to post a defense, I think a considerable number of votes had already been made because of the time restriction.

But oh well, maybe better luck next year.  Good luck to all who are left!!!  And great job to everyone so far!

Not that it matters for now action, but I made a google doc with most of the information I wanted to use/points I wanted to make. You can access it from any computer, very easy.

Also thanks to Misha for rejoining us to vote. I encourage all GM's, whether former or current, to vote. The only reason not to be on that list is because you got a got a co-GM that already voted.

Just want to thank everyone who voted for the Boxers and congratulate Ohio Celtics Fan for putting together an excellent team and wish he was here to have defended it.

When is the next round because I am swamped with work and homework(going back to school full time) and I'm not sure how much time I will have to dedicate to this?

Yeah, I thought about that and actually did the same to an extent.  The problem was if I posted, I wouldn't be able to defend any counters until 5ish...  Didn't want to leave any undefended attacks lingering in voters' minds for so long.

Also, wow, just realized it took 3 years to get that first star haha.  But probably only a month ago or less I was at under 900 posts.  So maybe they'll keep on rolling from here.  My job is far less demanding now which bodes well :)

Also though on a more serious note, good one on ya for goin back to school. I know from some of your posts that you're a busy driven guy when it comes to your business, thanks for taking the time out to take part in the draft, and congratulations on the diploma I'm sure you'll earn.

PS: Go Bulls.

Do you know what the boxers origins were IP? That;s right, they were a working and hunting dog in Germany and Belgium used for hunting and taking down boars, bears and bulls!!!!!

Fitting that all these years later they will be doing what they were bred to do once again!!!
