I thought I heard that Ron Ron is auctioning off his championship ring and giving the proceeds to a charity for mental illness.

No I am not kidding, I think Jim Rome was reporting this on Rome is Burning. I was on the phone with a customer so didn't really hear the details but I could have sworn that's what I heard.
