New and Improved : Milwaukee Bucks

PG: Jason Kidd/Jarret Jack
SG: Rip Hamilton/CJ Miles/Nick Yong
SF: Tayshaun Prince/Matt Barnes
PF: Dirk Nowitzki/Brandon Wright
C: Marcin Gortat/Ronny Turiaf

At this point I really dont see much more that my team needs.  Im quite happy with the way that my bench has come together.  Seems like we got guys that fit needs and fill roles. The only knock that i have heard is that we may be too much like the real Dallas Mavericks who were the second seed in a top heavy west so i cant complain about that

Agreed.  That makes little sense.

It would be like starting Ray at PG and Rondo at SG.

Cousin is a C.

Hortford should be a PF.

Some changes after today:

PG: Tony Parker, Ramon Sessions
SG: O.J. Mayo, Aron Afflalo
SF: Danny Granger
PF: Boris Diaw, J.J. Hickson, Jonas Jerebko
C:  Sam Dalembert, Zaza Pachulia

The Diaw acquisition helps me hedge my bets in case Hickson is not ready for prime time. He'll help facilitate on the offense, knock down open shots, and stretch the defense.

Afflalo moves to the starting lineup, allowing Butler to back up both the 2 and the 3. We'll welcome his scoring punch off the bench, while Hickson, Pachulia, and Jerebko bring energy, hustle, and grit.

Roster is still a work in progress. Word is Granger and Afflalo are both flashing back to high school French class. Ooh la la.

Lucky, are you concerned that Diaw looked in miserable shape in the Wolrd Championships?

A lot of perimeter offense.

Do you have a low post threat that can take advantage of the space created?

Well, isn't Hickson that low post player? 2/3 of his offense last season came from around the basket. I also think that, with Diaw drawing defenses out, Granger may be able to take advantage of smaller SFs and score in the post.

Also, I've just traded Butler for O.J. Mayo. I like the additional playmaking ability in the backcourt, although it does push Afflalo back to the bench.

As for Diaw, no, I'm not concerned. I believe Lamar Odom also showed up to the World's overweight and out of condition (by his own admission). I see no reason why Diaw won't be physically ready for the start of the season.

I only suggested this because according to yahoo sports NBA depth charts, Horford is the starting C for Atlanta and Cousins is starting PF for Sacramento.

The WW has to agree with Who and Wdleehi. In fact, one of the appeals of drafting Cousins was the opportunity to move Horford to his natural position and pair him with a top flight center.

I do envision some overlap in their roles offensively; love that both have great passing ability; and Horford is certainly able to switch on opposing centers.

He will still play some 5 in small line-ups and to cover for Cousins' expected foul trouble.

Still - I appreciate the suggestion. TP. It's the most discussion I've had up to this point.

1. What's Holiday's offensive game like? Is he a pure PG? I must confess I don't know much about him, other than I've heard he is physically gifted and has always been mentioned as a good defender. Should you start the steady Udrih instead?

2. I thought Kleiza was more of a SG/SF (albeit big for the position) than a SF/PF.

3. McDyess is a nice insurance policy in case Cousins is slow to make the leap. He could fit nicely alongside Horford in the starting lineup.

If steady, efficient distribution from the point, the team is pretty solid. Strong rebounding and defense, and good shooters off the bench.

My team is below let me know what you think.

My team will really be able to run with Beaubois, Deron and Smith. We can play solid defense with Haywood, Smith and Deron. Beaubois. McGee can both run and play defense off the bench.

My problem area is clearly the wing, but I think of Beaubois, Hayward, Howard, X. Henry and Marquis Daniels. I believe Beaubois to be a game changer. I have faith that very high pick Hayward and Henry will emerge. Despite the second half of last year Marquis has been a very good player. Josh Howard was a borderline all star and if he can give us anything resembling that player we'll be ok.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

In my honest, proffesional, an unbiased opinion here's how I'd rank it:

1. Phoenix (I really like what this team has done)

2-31: Everybody else (some good picks here, but for the most part, meh)
