Memphis is the team of the future.

Oh and I like the Wilson Chandler pick (third best chandler of all time behind Chandler Bing and Kyle Chandler ;D)

I'm not sure about this pick.  He's injured, so you need to draft another big that can hold it down all regular season and the pool is getting thin for that.  Also, Toronto is in the Eastern Conference.  Perk would be a big advantage as a selling point in the Western conference against Dwight, Yao, and Pau.  There are a lot of opponents Toronto will meet on the way to the finals that Perk really won't be much of an advantage to have on the floor for.

Also, nobody commented on the George Hill pick a while back.  I like that pick and had him high on my list of players to attain.  Will be interested throughout the draft in him if you ever like other pgs available and are willing to deal.
I love George Hill alongside Kobe Bryant. Fantastic fit. Hill isn't a creative playmaker so he needs to play off of another perimeter player who makes plays which Bryant definitely brings to the table. Allows Hill to focus more on his scoring too.

I love that duo defensively also. Two long big guards who can really D up. Tough backcourt to play against.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
We have a trade:

HOU send 5/17 and 6/12
for PHO 4/25 and 10/2

The pick at 4/25 is Dalembert.

One of the last legit mid-tier centers out there. Good pick-up, he should put up some good numbers in Sacramento as well.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

The Minnesota Timberwolves select their binkie Rodrigue Beaubois,
who next season will cement his status as the best french player in the NBA.

If anyone has any questions about the pick please let me know and I will answer them.

His broken foot doesn't concern you?

Nope he broke it in early August and the normal injury time for that break is two to three months. So that brings him back in early October, or November which either has him ready for the season or missing less than a month.

He's a player I like - and certainly a momentum changer - but given that's he's also an NBA sophomore coming off an uneven Summer League performance who's now expected to miss training camp I'm concerned.

It's possibly because I got rolled over by the Crotonauts in 2009. But I'm not giving the same credence to the argument that players that haven't been cleared for contact - or in some cases even to pick up a basketball - in September will be ready by opening night and/or won't struggle with conditioning and setbacks upon returning.
I was also rolled by the Crotornats when my team was grossly under valued. So to make up for that you guys should all give me the benefit of the doubt ;-).
I feel like I was going to get some flack for this pick, but it's the same type of pick that we will look back on during the season and realize it was a good one. Similar to the Gallanari and Tyreke Evans picks I made last year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Thanks. I like the pairing with Murphy in the frontcourt.

Like Murphy, Dalembert was in the top 10 last season for rebound totals. He was also top 5 in blocks, despite only averaging 26 minutes a game.

He has also appeared in 80+ games a season for four straight years.

Yeah, one of the problems with this draft is that we never follow up with the retrospect, which could be pretty fun. Of course, when the analysis is freshest also happens to be in the middle of the C's season/postseason, so there are better things to do then as well.

The Murphy/Dalembert gives you a solid inside/outside presence in the frontcourt, and they will work well off each other, especially now that Dalembert gives Murphy basically a better version of the center he's played alongside the past two seasons. However, they're gonna be a little slow laterally and possibly down the court as well. All in all, a nice pairing that makes sense.

I don't think Dalembert will play much next season in Sacramento. Not with Cousins, Thompson and Landry on the team. Not enough minutes to go around. Dalembert will be doing well to get as many minutes as he got last season in Phily.

Haha.  Who, I didn't draft George Hill.  I WANTED (still want) him, haha.  I know, I was thinking he'd fit in perfect with Kobe, I thought he'd last til next round.  My message was intended for Ohio Celts Fan who drafted him.

Boxers select Wilson Chandler

Given the amount of noise my esteemed rival in Washington made about reaches in the 3rd round, I'm somewhat surprised he's reached himself on his past three picks now - Scola, Haslem and Wilson Chandler.

That said, all high effort players/physical defenders that would be welcome in New Orleans.

Boxers' starting point guard better be a shooter though...
