Yes. But what it means is that the summer league isn't a good barometer for eventual NBA success.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Future NBA stars dominate the summer league and so do flops. My point is that when someone dominates the summer league, it doesn't really mean anything. Everything is the same as it was when the kid was drafted: the kid could be a stud or he could be a flop; we won't know until he actually plays a game.
