I'll be starting the draft lottery soonish, my goal is a reveal a team every 10/15 minutes as work allows.

I'm hoping/assuming you'll be counting down from last to first pick?

That's the plan.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Anyone want to mix it up with a blind swap of 1st rounders before the picks come out? Could be good, could be bad...
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I wouldn't approve that trade, you can swap entire draft boards blindly if you really want, but not just first round picks.

But then no team gets potentially stacked based primarily on blind luck- where's the fun in that?

Is the draft in serpentine fashion again? Would a swap of 1st and 2nd rounders fit better?

Edit: Or an entire franchise swap, if someone is up for a gamble.

The draft is a modified snake. Basically instead of snaking back in the third round the person who picks last in the first will pick first in the second and third rounds. From there it will snake as normal.

Think of it as two seperate snake drafts, one with two rounds, and then another one with 11.

Interesting twist, so 1st overall gets 1(1), 2(30), 3(30), 4(1), 5(30), 6(1), etc?

You've got it.

We're trying to counter act the inherent advantage of getting a "superstar" or top 10 NBA player gives teams.

interesting twist.  give people picking at the end of the first round a lot of ammo to move around.

I love that the schedule is on Central time.  Living in Chicago, I don't have to do any math!!!
