I love that the Rondo and Perk are taking on the Heat. Put more pressure on them. Moving forward Rondo and Perk will be the beginning of the new core. I love them going on the attack. Miami has done nothing yet!

Though I completly agree with what Perk and Rondo are saying, I'd rather not have them comment on the Heat.

I know they aren't dying to comment on Heat and the reporters are prob bugging them with the questions, but I just want the C's to let their game do the talking.

I love this but I do agree. We need to let our play do the talking. I'm really confident. There is too much unfinished business. Rubber match, Celtics vs. Lakers!

I agree.  Stop running your mouth and let your play do the talking.  Last season some of the Celtics talked smack and look where it got them.  I'm not saying they lost because they talked, but how many times have you seen player talk trash only to have it come back to  haunt them?

What he said was 100% correct and nothing he said has any bearing on what happened last year or what will happen this year or how he heals.  Spot on Perk.

I hope he comes back healthy for the stretch run so we can take out the LJ and Wade again.

What Perkins said isn't "locker room" material or "bulletin board" material, at least it shouldn't be.

But the Heat will use anything and everything to get juiced up even more to prove the world wrong.

I agree we shouldn't be talking about the Heat and give them ammo.

But again, it's up the Heat to use that ammo correctly and usefully.

Remember, the Celtics weren't able to use Phil's in the huddle comments about us losing games in the 4th quarter.

I agree.  It sounds like Perk has adopted Sheed's attitude about the regular season and The Captain's penchant for trash talking.

Yeah the heat will use Kendrick Perkins for bulletin board material... lol  Like he cares either way.  What he said was 100% correct but, like most things Boston area fans will find a problem with anything.  If he said (when he was asked by a reporter) Miami would be great someone would have said he was being soft... lol  Boston fans. : (

Perk always spoke his mind. This means: Perk is coming back angrier, and its awesome.

Beside people commented on Celtics a lot last season. Its time for Celtics to return the favors. Lets start with Kobe, he is a phony, a cheater, a wuss, a ballhawk, dirty player, the worst teammate ever, several rings riding ShaQ, Gifted 1 more in 2010, MJ wannabe....................

oops, I shouldn't have said that. Kobe-Stans might maul me.

I think if the NBA refs didn't call too many flagrant fouls, Perk would have been like a Maurice Lucas-Rick Mahorn type. Let Wade and James drive to the hoop and the medical staff of the Heat will be picking up those two off the hardwood.

Not a big fan of the talk.  The do is so much better.

The talk has no end.  The do has a clear end.

Talk is/was and always will be cheap.

I like the Belichek approach on this matter.
