Make it happen DA. I have been saying all summer long that I would love to see Shaq in green.

Dominating the boards is the key to beating Miami. Shaq is another big to help with rebounds. Shaq and Baby on the second team is a fairly big froncourt.

If he wants to sign then sign him up. Diesel and Rondo on the pick and roll would be sweet.

Danny is officially insane if he turns down Shaq for the minimum.

With the lack of quality big men out there on the market and the lack of depth in our front court with Perk out for the first half of the season I would gladly bring on Shaq.

Shaq at the minimum sounds good. Would Shaq be able to pull off Wilt 72 type of game?

Wow! I'd love to see Shaq in green. He could immediately start, and the C's could bring Jermaine off the bench. I'm surprised by Shaq's interest. I figured he would be a warm weather guy: Miami, LA, etc. I'd be happy to have him playing for my home team. This would enable the Celtics to be more versatile and consider different trade options when Perk comes back.

At this point I'm fine with it. Especially for the vet min. Get it done Danny -- it always seems like you wait too long to do everything.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I'd love to have Shaq here, and I'm also confident that J.O. can play backup PF.

i've been promoting shaq for a long time...

for those who do not want him...

pay attention...

you act like we are dealing from a position of strength...

we are not...

we are don't have depth upfront...

we don't have financial flexibility...

have you forgotten that center is the weakest position in the nba...

see ratliff and magliore signings...

and...what's left is worse...

shaq can still have an impact on the game...

miami is going to be especially weak at center...

that will be the chink in their armor...

don't forget about dwight howard...

we can pound people inside with kg, perk, baby, shaq and jo...

3 yards and a cloud of dust...

it's all about forcing matchups...

we want to dictate the matchup inside instead of letting the other teams dictate to us...

can u imagine shaq playing against the fakers and heat...the two teams he won championships with?

shaq in a heartbeat!

Ha, ha. Now THAT was cute. Tp for making me laugh.

for next to nothing its worth a shot... he can't disrupt our chemistry as our team is too veteran for any of that... there's a 10% chance that he saw Kobe get his 5th and gets ultra-motivated to get his... low delta chance, but worth it, i think... if so, and he drops 15-20 (OK, 30) pounds and is willing to take the reduced role, he could be a big piece of the puzzle for us... might also make it a bit more comfortable to include Perk in any Chris Paul deal (i'm just saying)

Signing Shaq is pretty much the only thing that could get me excited about this offseason again.
Never stop believing baby~
