Other than Rondo not being a very good shooter, I think he'd fit in with the USA team pretty darn well. There's not a ton of players out there that can manage all the egos that team will have and just make the right decision. Rondo's obviously already proved he can do that with the Celtics.

Edit: Just hope he doesn't get hurt, he gives me a good reason to watch the world championships.

Looking good meaning what?  Is he shooting well or what?  I knew he would look good, but is he shooting well is what I want to know.

Hopefully he's not shooting much at all while playing PG.

I'm looking forward to him playing PG w/ Rose at the 2.

I suspect Billups will start.

I tried to watch a few minutes of the workouts on the nba channel, but it's hard to do unless the tv is on mute. If it's the idiot commentators saying he looks good they could be referring to his sneakers or haircut.

  Although I don't doubt he's playing well.

After the roster is filled and whoever gets cut etc.. when does USA Basketball start?

Im excited to see Rondo if he makes the team and some the others.

Rondo/Billups/Durant/Odom/Lopez

Thats the lineup that i’m digging right now.

I’ve seen that group in the camp and I like the way they talk and move together. Rondo, Billups, and Durant seem to really work well together.

I just got in...is it worth it to go to the chat, anyone interested?  Yesterday's practice was kind of a waste, but Rondo wasn't in it much...mostly commentators and a few interviews

Wow I didn't realize Odom went he must feel old has heck.  He probably agreed to get away from his wife.

Can you imagine Durant playing alongside Rondo..

Are the World Championships only on NBATV? Or is there a way I can see them?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Odom on this team is a joke, we must be down to the junior varsity.

Well right now they're just practicing and getting ready for tryouts.  As far as I know, you can only watch them on NBAtv.  They might be streaming it on the NBA.com website.  Check it out.

The actual games don't start until mid-late August.  The first scrimmage is Aug 16, if I'm not mistaken.  The championship game is on Sep 8th.  The whole thing is being played in Istanbul, Turkey.  Surely those games will all be on tv.  Usually TNT or ESPN2 carries them.
