I like it for the Bulls. Who knows what the Warriors have up their sleeves.

Curious to hear how much the Bulls paid to get Watson.

Is he Rose's backup, or a short SG?

Bulls can give Golden State a trade exception. The value of being under the salary cap.

Why would we want another combo guard with Nate and Avery Bradley already signed?

Great acquisition ... the Bulls are doing well so far in the off-season. Really like CJ ... if he stays healthy he'll have a great career.

CJ Watson is really going to kill it in his 6 minutes per game.

But I guess you expected Danny and his 5.8 million dollars and our starting center down to be able to compete with 30 million dollars in cap space and starting positions galore.

Despite all these good moves, the Bulls still lack a true superstar. Derrick Rose is an all-star caliber player, and Boozer is a fringe all-star, but together those two guys just don't have enough "oomph" to scare me.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Exactly, and theres reasons why Kyle Korver always ends up further and further into the bench... his news teams always just get wide-eyed about the 3PT%

@ Rondo_is_better, I don't think the Celts have a true superstar at this point. The Big 3 are all great, but they're past that point in their careers where either of them are superstar players. Rondo is great but he's not yet a superstar. He needs a jumpshot before we can put him in that category... My point is, that doesn't stop us from being competitive.

The Bulls are looking good right now, between Boozer and Noah they'll have one of the best rebounding frontlines in the league. Rose supposedly has been working on his 3 pt range, that could be scary. Brewer is a good defensive guy and should do well under Thibs. Korver gives them an outside threat, and CJ gives them a legit backup to Rose and a spark off the bench. And let's not forget Luol Deng, when he's healthy he's solid for 17-20pts a night.

Terrible stuff from GSW. Why didn't they accept Orlando's offer 12 months ago? This one from Chicago is nowhere near as a good as what the Magic were offering for CJ Watson.

As for the Bulls, not liking how they are filling out their roster. They are rushing these decisions and getting solid but unremarkable talent/fits in Korver, Brewer (fit) and Watson.

I understand the O'Neal signing was an important one, but I have to say I'm disappointed that both Morrow and Watson didn't end up on the Cs. They've both been signed and traded for nothing.

We just keep trying to stop the bleeding with band-aids. Are we ever going to sign a young rotation player to a long term deal via FA again? Ever??
