Solid hire. I wonder if Frank may eventually become Doc's successor, but that's getting a bit ahead of ourselves.
I think it is a great signing just because Frank is head coach material and will have the chance to get acquainted with the players and the system for at least 1 year under Doc -- that's assuming we'll need a replacement in the observable future.
Well I heard that this upcoming season was the most important for Doc, as after this season, his youngest son will be going to college and his wife can come live with him in Boston. If this year works out, I expect him to come back at least one more season for the possible final year of the Big Three.
