They did agree to six year deals right? Personally, i think they should at least come close to winning it all in year 1, and then either go back to back or win it all in year 2. If they end up with nothing after 2 years of playing together, I feel that this whole experiment may not last the duration of their contracts. However, if they do get it going early on, then this may have "dynasty" written all over it. What do you guys think?

I think they will.  But the underlying factor is if they can coexist together and there are no problems in the locker room.  This team will only get stronger and stronger with each passing year when being able to use their MLE's.

If they cannot win a title within a 3 year span, I truly believe that one of the stars (Bosh) will begin to complain and will not want to coexist in the heat organization anymore. If it plays out that way then I see miami moving him for another all-star caliber big who his athleticism isn't one of his strongest points.

At that time though, I see the Celts bringing in an explosive guard/forward, wing-type player to replace Paul as the starter, if we do not already have one in the making. Then having a perfect mix of young and older players that would be contending for a while, I don't see them going back into rebuilding mode for a very long time.

No.  I'd be shocked if it happened.  I can see Bosh and Wade there for 6 years.  At some point though, and I'm not saying it's going to be acrimonius, Lebron is outta there.....6 years of sharing the ball at the level he'll be sharing is a long time.  He and Wade both might get tired of it.  He'll get the urge to carry a team and be the ONE.

I think NO. It's pretty rare these days for any group to stay together that long, for whatever reasons. But unfortunately, in this situation with these guys you'd have to bet that at some point someone's gonna be a bit selfish and want more of the spotlight on themselves.
The Celtics current big 3 was much older when they came together. And generations ago it wasn't all about the individual so much as it is now. With today'syoung players, the ability to defer and be unselfish is something that only goes so far, i think. We'll see.

It is possible one might be traded after two years if they are not as good as they though they would be or if the chemistry on court is really bad.

I don't see any of them getting traded.  People are still trying to pick this team apart but I think LeBron, Wade, and Bosh are all unselfish and they will be a great combination.  I see a dynasty.

I disagree.  LeBron came into this league with comparisons to Magic Johnson.  They started him at Point guard for several games during his rookie season, but he wasn't ready for it.  His "incredible" passing was supposed to make him a more athletic and strong Magic... but somewhere along the line his passing took a step back to him leaning more on hitting long jumpers, powering to the hole and scoring 30 a night.  That might have something to do with the crap he had surrounding him.

Somewhere along the line, guys like Bill Simmons stated their disappointment that LeBron wasn't embracing his otherworldly passing ability to his fullest.

I think we could see a totally different player in Miami.  I think he might finally live up to his Magic Johnson potential... I would not be shocked to see Wade average 26, Bosh average 20...  while LeBron averages 19 points and 13 assists.   And I think Miami will absolutely flourish.   It depends on how they want to run their offense.  But if Bron embraces his other gifts... it's going to be beautiful.

I saw some clips of Wade, Bron and Bosh sharing the ball in the Olympics... whipping the ball back and forth... that team has the potential to be incredible.

I think they will and, barring a major injury, I think they'll win at least four titles.

I think you are underrating LeBron's passing on Cleveland.  He still was a great passer, especially considering who he has to pass to, mostly spot up shooters.  Also consider the terrible, terrible offensive sets of Mike Brown, who's attempts at using LeBron at point ammounted to letting him iso and seeing what happens.

That being said, I agree he will be much better on Miami passing the ball. I see a lot more alleys and passing to finishers for him, also expect a devestating pick and roll with LeBron and Bosh and even Wade open or cutting the rim off the ball side. And with Bosh, LeBron, and Wade demanding double team attention there will be open shooters or cutters all over the floor.

It's funny people talk about LeBron losing his legacy and possibilities for his career... with his ability to pass and the attention he and the other two stars demand he will have huge assist numbers.  Does Rondo get no credit simply because he doesn't score as much?  No, he has great assist numbers and fills up the stat sheet.  LeBron may become, like you say, more of a Magic Johnson.  No one discredits Magic because he passed to Kareem or Worthy, nor should they.

I think LeBron will average more than 20 and probably 12 ast + and 10 reb + as well.

Much better passer on Miami, no not really.

So LJ will average a triple double on a team where he won't be handling the ball nearly as much?  I have to disagree with that.  We'll see.

Oh yeah, I don't see any of them getting traded either.  But I also think they put their ETO's and player options in there for a reason.  I think there is a good chance some, if not all of them move on before the 6th year.

LeBron's scoring will drop, that's pretty obvious.  But I think he will definitely pass the 20 pt mark.  Rebounds of course don't require you to handle the ball.  As for assists, if the Heat use LeBron as a PG, as I believe they should, he can absolutely hit the 10 + assist mark on this Miami team.  Wide open spot up shooters, the Bosh pick and roll, Wade roaming and causing havok, and imagine the open court... I don't think that's much of a stretch at all.

But like you say, we'll see.

I think LeBron could average 10 assists a game if he was used as a starting point guard but not as a wing player. He won't have the ball in his hands often enough there.
