We should all be pushing the whole "front man" issue as much as possible.

I love that Lebron is in the back, but what I don't love is him counting how many championships he plans on winning in Miami. I believe his count got all the way to 7 and even Wade was shocked.

Perhaps he hasn't heard the sports cliche...."one game at a time"...? ;D

You guys all are trying to parlay who gets the front of a cover into basketball status?

Since when did this forum adopt LA celeb standards....

7 Titles, huh?

My question is this: Who does MIA trade away out of these three when after 2-3 yrs of this union they find out that they are no closer to winning a title?

My guess is Lebron.

One thing that will come out of this: no more MVP awards for BronBron to stroke his already ginormous ego.

I'll enjoy watching Kevin Durant accept the MVP trophy next season... Even though he's not in green, I expect him to accept it with grace and humility. That's a basketball player I can get behind.

1. Reports from Lebrons camp is that he's actually leaner than he was during the season. But his head is starting to remind me of Barry Bonds.

2. If Lebron puts up bigger numbers, it will be his team. Doesnt matter who was there first. He will win all the trophys will bigger numbers. He'll get more rebounds and assists, wade might lead in points.

3. There's no reason why he can't become MVP again. If this team has the best record next year, and baring some unbelievable season from KD, a member of this team will be MVP, and it's not Bosh.

4. He's 25, yeah he's an ****, but he can still easily surpass Kobe in rings. Doesnt matter if he has help, Kobe had shaq and gasol. He won't ever be jordan, but we already knew that.

5. This team will win. They all have big EGOs, but Lebron on the court, is unselfish, he doesnt want the last shot, he passes too much, etc. That's perfect for Wade. Bosh knows he's third fiddle. I dont see chemistry issues here. This isnt like Kobe taking over from Shaq, these are three guys that chose to be together and are "friends".

6. Heat are putting quality guys around them. A year or two more, an mle and what not next year, only thing from winning multiple titles is a strike. Sorry, but a two time MVP and Wade will win.

I hate him as much as the next guy, always have. But really, these guys far surpass our big 3, even when our big 3 were in our prime. They'll get their role players too. Silly to expect them not to win.

Imagine if the cavs, instead of having delonte, had Wade, and instead of having Jamario Moon, they had Bosh. That's what the heat team is going to be like.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Wanting Lebron to NOT be great unfortunately does not keep him from being great. It will be his team in the end.

It's D-Wade's team and always will be.  Who's the one with the ring right now, returning to the team that drafted him?  Oh yea D-Wade.

If LeBron tries for it to be his team I feel there will be some real chemistry problems between him and D-Wade.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree with that. When Garnett came to Boston he was the better player than Pierce, or at least regarded as such. He was the DPOY. He was credited with anchoring the best defense of the last 15 years, and he was always said to be the emotional leader in the lockerroom. Even when that is all said and done, it was still Pierce's team.

Also, the talent difference between LeBron and Wade (LeBron is better, thats not a question to me) isn't that big. Wade isn't all of a sudden going to stop being amazing.

I hope they all catch Basophobia. That'll stop LeBron and Wade from getting to the line.

The fans considered it Pierce's team, but they played like Garnett's.

You might be right about the perception, but LeBron will be the leader on the floor just like KG was.

I don't agree with this.  Why can't Wade be the leader on the floor next year?  He is certainly good enough and Wade will be the guy taking the shots in the clutch.

IMO in '08 the C's played as if it was KG's team during the regular season and Paul's during the playoffs.

Is it me, or does it look like LeBron has gained some weight?

I noticed it too but I think it's the beard.

No it's not.  During the "Terrible Decision" his neck looked huge too.

Chemistry could be an issue if LeBron wants to be the face of the team and Wade want's to be too.

Along with that, unlike our Big Three this  three's games all don't compliment each others.  Bosh's compliments both D-Wade's and LeBron's, but D-Wade's and LeBron's don't compliment each other.  LeBron will have to be much more of a facilitator, which I know he can be.

I never understood how LeBron has gotten bigger over the years. Reports say that concerning NBA players, he doesn't really lift that much. One report (forget the exact one) said he didn't start lifting until his 3rd year in the league.
