Wow, why bother showing up to Celticsblog, the chatroom, ordering league pass, or reading ESPN articles (well I actually avoid it like the plague and read Yahoo sports commentary) if Lebron, Wade, and Bosh are going to win the next Seven Rings together in Miami (or Stern's backup city when Miami gets wiped out by a Cat V this summer).

Lebron really does not get it.

Winning one NBA title is hard work. It is hard on the fans too. Especially losers of Game 7 of the NBA finals.

I thought the same thing.  His neck looked huge too.  The guy looked really fat lol.

I don't think he's fat...not to stir the pot but one of the most common side effects of long-term HGH use is acromegaly, whose visible symptoms include enlarging of the forehead, cheekbones and jaw.  I'm pretty sure that's LeBron's vitamin of choice and has been for awhile.

For the record I think D-Wade used to take the same stuff but quit when his bulk led to those horrendous shoulder injuries.  His shoulders aren't nearly as square as they were a few years ago.

You could be right, but I was even saying to my brother how his face and neck looked way bigger.  This guy is definitely on the juice. 

just what are the league rules for PED testing?  I know Rashard Lewis got a 10 game slap on the wrist last year but some players actually look fit to burst!!  Is a blind eye turned? 

Not really the league's fault, there's no reliable test for HGH yet.  When there is one I think we'll start to see guys shriveling up like baseball saw a few years back.

Why wouldn't the messiah think that?  He's had it easy so far...Doesn't stop him from choking/tanking etc.  But he's basically had his own rulebook since he came to the NBA.  Stern has been the messiah's own personal PR firm.  He'll never win anything because his narcissism outweighs his ego.  It never did with champions of the past.  Bird, Jordan, Jabbar, etc had unchecked egos as well.  They also would do anything to win.  The messiah will do anything to self-promote.  He has more talent than any of the above but not the mental toughness. 

This union in Miami will be one of the biggest train wrecks in NBA history.  I'll love the expression on Wade's face the first time the messiah goes into me-mode and calls Wade one of "my guys".

It'll be easy playing 45 minutes a night?  Cuz that's what it will take given the money they will have for roster spots 5-15.  And totally true -- I think Wade's still the man on the Heat.

He's saying practice will be hard having to face Wade and Bosh, but during games it will be easy because they will be on his side and every team they face will suck.

He's basically saying we're the only good players in the league and all the rest suck.

We would really need a link so that we can actually see what LeBarf's words are, so we can decide for ourselves what the context is, before we can intelligently weigh in on what he meant and what significance to give the quote.  Knowing what I do already about LeBron, I'm willing to believe that he said something arrogant and worthy of scorn and derision, but I don't know that without hearing or reading his words for myself.  Who knows what he meant with no context.  Maybe his idea was 'more sweat in training, less blood in battle.'  Who knows.
