I think this was a nice pick up for the Knicks esp since they needed a pg. Let's see how the contract looks.

Not a starting PG for a team to go deep in playoffs; I think they are too short-sighted, especially if they want to get Parker or Paul down the road.

After years of mortgaging the future to position themselves for this summer's FA frenzy, the Knicks will end up with Amare, Felton, and Anthony Randolph.

Enjoy your lottery picks in 2011 and 2012, Knicks fans. Oh wait, you don't own those either, do you? My mistake.

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Good. One less Tarhole on my home team. Only wish the Bobcats had traded him.

I don't see a problem with relegating Felton to the bench if you can get someone better. I'm just not a fan of Felton and agree with you playoff assessment, especially considering that we are talking about D'Antoni's offense.

Here we go Knicks! Lets start overpaying for second tier stars just to use that cap space up! Feltons not a good choice for the new look knicks IMO.

I read 9 mil per somewhere. They're gonna get another duhon contract. I see it coming clear as day. Felton isn't that good.

I have no idea what the money is... But I'm pretty sure they are going to overpay the crap out of him.

If they pay him starter type money then that is just hilarious.

I know the Knicks have been bad the last 10 years, but they have done an outstanding job of getting out from under all those bad contracts, in a relatively short amount of time. They needed a PG and got the best available one, so you have to overpay (supply and demand). But you Celtic fans have alot to worry about, This big three will be applying for social security soon, so I would watch those comments. Boston is real close to being irrelevant again when the big three retires.

If its $9 million/year, then I say "Yikes".  Way to use your cap space wisely this time around, New York.   ::)

Espn is reporting a starting salary of 7 million.

Then its a little more palatable given the current NBA market and the Knicks glaring need for a PG.

I'm not enamored of Felton but given what's out there, its not the worst pickup at that price.
