If PP gets $61m for 4 years and RA gets $20m for 2 years, what do you think KG would get if he was a Free Agent this year?

When it counts (playoffs) KG is still a top 5 PF in my book, behind Dirk, Pau, Bosh and maybe Stoudemire. Yet he only has 1 or 2 years left in him i think.

Boozer and Horford are right on his heals.

I agree with most of what you are saying, accept the Bosh being better than KG.Even at this stage of his game,KG still is a better defender than Bosh.He might not put up the offensive numbers but id rather have KG on my team than Bosh.I feel KG when healthy, can still limit Bosh from having a big game.tp

Good Points - and to add: It will be fun to see Bosh now battle Rashard Lewis, Amare, Boozer, KG, Josh Smith, and an up-and-coming Andre Blatche next year.

Bosh is a great Offensive player, but boy MIA needs some help up front......Pat Riley: Don't leave Bosh on an island like that.

Oh yeah, for sure. Miami needs rim defenders in a major way. Bosh is not the greatest goal tender in the world.

For 1 year, yeah I'd rather have KG and his defense/leadership.

I'd take Boozer over Amare anyday and for performance right now, over Bosh as well. If Duncan's still considered a power forward, he's top three. Dirk-Duncan-Pau-Garnett-Boozer.
Go Celtics.

There is no way KG is worth 45/3. No way. Maybe 8-10 mill per max.

A. When healthy is the key point
B. Bosh is, at this point, better in every other facet of the game, offense...rebounding, by a fairly large margin. There is just no way KG is anywhere near Bosh's level right now.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
10-12 mil per over 3. That's teh contract he'd get.

So like, 3 years, 36 or less.

Remember Haywood signed for 55/6. KG is worth more per year. No less than 12 per. He's worth more than Bynum or Al Jefferson for a 1-2 year deal.

Bigs are overpaid. Thats just how it is in the NBA.

I'm calling BS on this one.

You can look at box scores all you want, but his impact on a game isn't nearly as significant as KG's still is.

Put KG on the Raptors last year for 70 games and they make the playoffs.

Bosh had a worse plus/minus last year, and probably every other season in his career.

People forget defense is half the game. KG is far superior in that aspect, as is his passing, by a wide margin. Bosh has the rebounding edge right now, but the offense isn't nearly as one sided as the numbers would suggest. One is the first option on a bad team. The other is a 3rd option on a great team. Can't just compare PPG.

Celtics get smoked in the second round last season if they had Bosh instead of KG.

Same ball park as Paul Pierce. Four years, $60 million.
