So if Ray Allen is jerking Danny's chain on signing a reasonable deal or getting that 3rd year, we give him a 3yr 30 millionish and trade him with a pick to the Knicks for David Lee.

Trading Ray Allen to Cleveland has to be heavily weighted in our favor to work. Sideshow Bob and Moon or Hickson with a numba one would be the minimum.

No way the Cavs sign him for the MLE unless they give him 5 years. If they do, they can have him.

I'm sorry, but with the news that Bosh and Wade are teaming up in Miami I find it extremely difficult to believe that LeBron would be saying all he needs is Ray Allen by his side to stay and win in Cleveland.
It makes no sense.
More than likely this is a rumour started by a bored writer or Ray Allens agent.

Ray has been throwing out a lot of platitudes about staying in Boston, but unlike Pierce he has yet to back them up. Unlike Pierce Ray is talking to other teams.  Unlike Pierce Ray seems to be reluctant to take a discount.
Only time will tell about how much Ray can be believed about his love for the team or the city.  We shall see.
