rumor is jefferson to gs, lee to min, ellis to ny. (http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67822/20100704/trade_rumor_jefferson_to_warriors_lee_to_wolves_ellis_to_knicks/)
works on the trade machine.

GS will be in good shape with a bidrins, jefferson front court.
they will also be 5.75 mil over the cap. maybe we could convince them give us randolph and turiaf in exchange for rasheeds  contract.

Not sure if it is a REAL GM trade rumor, but it does make some sense.

I'm still not sure how the Celtics get in and get contracts that they reportedly don't want to get rid of.

IMO, trades with GS will not likely involve any players we like coming back without Biedrins or Ellis being involved.

It was on ESPN too. As far as 'rumors' go, its legit.

As far as getting in, that's unlikely.

Also, what does Minny want with Lee? Is that guy just absolutely committed to being on a sub .500 team for the rest of his career.

New Jersey, David! Go to New Jersey! They will actually be good...better than Minny at least.

Lebron, David....New Jersey!

  • You know my methods, Watson.
maybe we should see if minny would hand love over to us for tony allen... :)

but seriously, talk about a DUMB franchise...they just bring in guys or draft them whether they have any use for them or not.  i also can't believe david lee would be stupid enough to WANT to play there.  how would he know his role?  and they're gonna suck really bad no matter what they do...  if i'm making a huge choice like this i simply thank them for the call and hang up.  can't believe he's actually considering this...

If any team gets in on it I think it would be San Antonio be swapped in for Golden State and Ellis being switched with Parker.

How much are they offering?  It has to be the money.

Minnesota seems to be going in the positive direction.  They are clearly bringing in athletic players that like to run, which is why Jefferson doesn't fit there.  He is a much more traditional bang it down low big man.  If Minnesota is serious about keeping both Flynn and Rubio, then they are serious about wanting to run.
