Stojko Vranković all over again   :-\

I hope so, Stojko was the man! Just hearing the name again brings a smile to my face. Not only was he a horrible player but he also always looked confused and grumpy. That was our boy!

Seriously though, dating back to Stojko, as far as I can remember the only luck we've had with foreign players was dino radja and like half a season from jiri welch. Other teams seem to have done better with the euros over the years.

he'll be fun to watch in Summer League - beyond that, who knows?  we'll need live bodies to fill out the roster

watched him full season as a soon to be a celtic player..he is a starter but his team  has 5 national team centers.(3 including semih is nba players)so his PT lacks.he puts some every year but still raw.coach tanjevic loves  run and gun so non of his centers can reach great stats..semih is a good defender with a huge wingspan..runs the floor very well..a good pick and roll player..not a nba ready body but very athletic and explosive sometimes..cause tanjevic uses him at the top in screens for sharp shooters his rebound numbers are not impressive but can do better...had some great games with the Turkish national team...ONE IS A GREAT GAME AGAINST GASOL IN FIFA WORLDCUP..he will be with the national team this summer so dont look forward seeing him in summer league..you will all have your own opinions because he will be acting in 2010 fifa worlcup...but as a summary not gonna be a great star nba player but he earns to have a chance..Ithink he can make it

Excellent summary Thanks - TP

He does seem to be an active body who likes to finish strong. Not the most graceful player to watch; but not a stiff either.

His NBADraft.net profile is pretty complementary actually. They say he is very athletic and plays with max energy. They also say he is a true 7-footer (+ good wingspan) as well as having a 3-point shot.

I have no problem bringing him over and seeing how he does in the SL and training camp. If he does well then great if not he was only the 60th pick in the draft.

wow, a 7 footer with good defense, great energy, and a three point shot? Sounds exactly like what this team is looking for.

I think he ends up making the team. As we saw in in the NBA finals length is extremely important we can't have our back up centers being 6'8.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I agree. We have, at the moment, zero healthy centers under contract. We need to sign 2-3 of them, and at least one of them has to be cheap, so Erden fits the bill.
