The Celtics are 11-0 when leading 3-2 according to ESPN. Finally a statistic thats on our side...tired of hearing the Phil is 47-0 when winning game 1, winner of game 3 wins 10-0 when series tied in 1-1.

Although I like the statistic of Celtics being 11-0 when leading 3-2, this is not over yet. Next 2 games are in LA. The Lakers are going to give us a good fight in game 6.

Lets go Celtics, bring back banner 18!!!

yeh...

If KG continues to play like he did today and if the bigs continue to guard Gasol like they did in these 2 games, that takes away their lengths...Odom im not too worried about. Kobe will always be Kobe, he will score almost 28+ a game.

Same strategy as Cleveland, we can live with Kobe scoring 30+, but we need to keep everyone else under 10 if not under 15...

rebounds everything...

base on today's stats
Gasol 12 12
Bynum 6  1
Fisher 9 4
Odom  8  8

Thats a good job in my opinion, but if we can lower their rebounds a little bit more, I like our chances

Celtics were 32-0 when up 3-2 in a playoff series until last year, and had never lost a game 7 at home.

Statistics like that are practically meaningless.

That said, I like the Celtics' chances of winning one of the next two games.

The biggest issue is obviously bynum. To me, if he plays like he did tonight they are worse off playing him. He really could't get up and down the court and we got some transition points off of it.

Last year, we were missing not only KG but also Powe. That's a thin frontline. This year, we're fully loaded.

I agree, we are more loaded than ever this year...but honestly, last year if Powe was 90% if not 100%, would we have won against the Magics...maybe not against the Lakers if we get that far last year

Yep.  Sort of like how Phil Jackson is 47-0 with a 1-0 series lead.

LOL @ the crying picts (event tho I love D-wade and was happy to see him at the game).....TP for that.

Anyways I don't really look much into the stats...all I know is that we got the momentum on our side...and as much as the C's love playing w/ their backs against the wall...I just want them to try to close this out in game 6.

They MUST win it in Game 6.  I can't see them beating LA at the Staples Center in a Game 7.

We lost a Game 7 at home to Indiana just a few years ago.  But I agree these stats are only meaningful looking back.

It means nothing, and it's just another reason to take the Lakers for granted and be complacent about it ... we've got to expect it to be a battle, and play like it's the end of the world, not like it's a given because of these stats.

Either way some major records are being broken. Phil Jackson and his ridiculous record when winning game 1. Or our record. It's an epic series. And it won't be easy. Our guys played terrible in games 1 and 2 (except Ray in game 3). They will have to step up on the road.

Personally I think it's going to game 7, but go celtics.

That stat that I'm most interested in is that our starting 5 is undefeated in the postseason. We need to keep it that way and end this sooner rather than later.
