Pau Gasol says Lakers want it more than Celtics

I'm happy for Pau that he says he wants it more than the Celtics.

If he wants to shed his soft persona, I'd like to suggest that he stop letting Sports Illustrated write articles about how much he adooores the opera and his other refined tastes and sensibilities.

While the anecdote may be amusing, liking the opera does not make you soft. Nor does having refined tastes and sensibilities. What earned Gasol the "soft" label is playing like a ninny on the court.

Yes, I am completely aware of that (look at James Bond, for example).  This was meant to fall completely into the category of amusing anecdote.
