my vote is going to BJ Armstrong...though Chris Gatling may be a close #2 in my lifetime

What are some of your votes?

Jamaal Magloire actually played 5 min for the Heat against the Celtics in the playoffs.  I had to look him up to know that, I also did not remember him in the 2004 all star game.

He only had one year as a 10 and 10 guy, other than that he has been below avg.  You can make a really good case for worst all-star.

Don't forget AC Green starting over Karl Malone.

Jamal Magloire easily.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Kevin Duckworth actually had a couple of good years, and Chris Gatling was a beast the year he made it.

Armstrong and Green are way up there in terms of worst all-stars.  Honorable mention goes to Iverson this year.

But the worst of all time has to be Grant Hill in 2001, right?  He played in four games total that year.

BJ.

The fans were just used to voting for Bull Gs at that point.

There are 2 kinds of worst all-stars.

There are the Fan voted ones
-Yao's started a few he shouldn't have
-Vince, Iverson, T-mac have started some they shouldn't have

Then there are the ones that had popular momentum at the time and are a little embarrassing in hindsight:
-Mo Williams (wouldn't start for more than half of NBA teams, I'd say)
-Tayshon Prince
-Wally Z
-Van Exel

  • Yup
AC Green getting voted in bugged me a lot, but that was mostly due to me hating LA so much.

Brad Miller was a pretty weak choice one year.  Tyrone Hill?
Yup

I think this should be not so much for fan voting which by the way is STUPID.  But in who really doesn't deserve to be anywhere near an allstar.
AC Green not a problem with him as a player getting more votes of course but I'd welcome him on our team any day.
Nick Van Exel great choice
Magloire probably wins it
BUT just to throw this out there, someone who has to be considered is our own Antoine Walker you can argue about numbers but I have seen few guys look so out of place in an all star game, no the wiggle doesn't get my vote but....
Magloire in a landslide

By far the worst performance at an allstar weekend has got to go to Birdman Anderson.

Mo Williams -- complete scrub.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
