Couldn't see this posted anywhere, and the 'expert' picks usually stir a bit of chatter.

http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2010/matchup/_/teams/celtics-lakers

Abbott - Lakers in 6
Adande - Celtics in 6
Broussard - Celtics in 7
Ford - Lakers in 7
Hollinger - Lakers in 7
Legler - Celtics in 6
Rose - Lakers in 7
Sheridan - Celtics in 7
Stein - Lakers in 6
Thorpe - Lakers in 6

There's much more balance in the predictions for this series and rightly so. No one has picked a winner under six games. This is definitely shaping up to be the most memorable finals series in a long while. BEAT LA.

Tim Legler loves him some green.

Barkley says Lakers in 5.

What an idiot..he's entertaining only when he's not showcasing his ineptness at understanding that the Celtics are different beasts in these playoffs.

I look forward to a thread filled with indignant anger.

Considering the post right before you, there is rightfully some anger already  ;)

If Hollinger says we lose this series too, then it's simple: we win. Thanks Hollinger.  I'm also appreciating your past series predictions. Your numbers will fail you again and you will be searching for answers during a long offseason.

Perfect.

Abbott and Barkley are two bald goons. Both picked us over Miami, but only in 7, and from then they picked the other team in 5, just once in 6. What expertise are we talking about?

Barkley is a joke! But I like it, he always ends up wrong so it's a good sign for us.

Interesting to see the ESPN "experts" divided this time, but the most surprising pick is Adande with Celtics in 6, looks like a reverse jinx to me. Hollinger is still Hollinger, no sense whatsoever in his predictions.

Tim Legler knows what he's talking about and I'm going with his pick too, Celtics in 6!

I'll take Legler's prediction as legit the rest are bandwagon fans especially Adande who I believe is using the 'reverse jinx' concept made well known by another bandwagon fan that works for the same company.  : )

I'm shocked at those "expert" picks. I was expecting Legler, and Legler only, to pick the C's. I'm also shocked that Abbott has the Lakers in 6. I would have bet the farm that he'd pick them in 4.

Barkley says Lakers in 5.

Who did Kenny Smith pick?  Last week Reggie Miller said we'd get a Celtics/Lakers finals and picked the Celtics in 6.  Did he stand by that?

I think it was Webber , though it may have been Rose, who said when an analyst picks a team in 7 games they are really saying it could go either way.
