Call me crazy but I really think the Lakers are a better matchup for us than Phoenix.  Anyone else agree?  Their offense seems like a more effective and faster version of Orlando.


Here's hoping the series extends to game 7 but ultimately we get to play the Fakers in the Finals 

I totally agree. PHX is too difficult to play on the road, especially since they would have 4 games in their building. I like the Lakers matchup, plus, it just feels so much better to beat them for a title.

However, I just want 4 more wins, it really doesn't matter who they come against. Just give me banner 18!

Phoenix concerns me more than the Lakers and they always have. Their playing style can be very problematic for us if we aren't at the top of our game and if our shot is off, we're in deep trouble.

If we have to scramble for a win, the Lakers are better suited for us.

I'm not rooting for any sort of injury to either side, but if it happens it happens, the Celts got banged up too. 

i think we have a better chance against the lakers, for they are not as athletic. We have major problems defending and playing offence against athletic teams like the hawks or suns.

Even though we played terrific basketball against the magic and cavs, I still think that, if SVG and MB used their athletic players more, the outcome would've been different. But hey, that's a woul'd've. We're in the finals!

You can argue that Phoenix's style is worse for us, but to me the bottom line is I'd rather face Nash and Amare than Kobe and Gasol.  The Lakers are a supremely talented team. 

I'd take PHX because I think we'd have a better chance of beating them and because if we lost I wouldn't be as bitter.

Agree the Lakers are definitely a tougher match and don't get me wrong but people are giving Phoenix way to much respect just because they are winning with a different style.  We all know defense wins championships and theirs is much weaker than the Lakers IMO.

I do disagree with you though on wanting to face Phoenix and with how you wouldn't be as bitter.  I'd much rather face the Lakers and take what's ares back. 

All in all I do not care who we face though and just want to win 18!

I like Nash. I hate the Lakers. I'd rather play the Suns

it makes one think what would have happened if kg wasnt hurt last year. this potentially could have been the 3rd straight c's-lakers final.

but seeing as the lakers are the reigning champs (and your hated rivals), you want the lakers hands down. you gotta beat the champ to be champ!
