Howard's body can apparently make as much contact as possible when defending shots. I guess the refs are looking only at his hands and not what he is doing with his body.

Pretty atrocious officiating in that regard.

I'm desparate to see something that makes me think we can win this game. Game 6 would be a closeout game for both teams. They win that, we're done.

Wow... it looks like this is that kind of night for the Magic. What a shot by Redick...

But the dumb plays from Boston don't help either. What was Pierce doing with that alley-oop pass when KG barely could move?!

I had a rule when I was on the bench.

No matter how the officiating was, I shut my mouth when my club wasn't giving competitive effort.

This team is not competing - at all - defensively. That's the problem.

Or perhaps we could start a concurrent game thread: "Referee complaining: Celtics vs. Magic."

Until this team makes even a half-hearted effort to defend and execute, I'm not going to worry about the officiating.

i am afraid this one is over tonight. boston looks lost and old....orlando getting all the calls. i feel  like last year...up 3-2 and they couldn't close it out.

def. going to be a one game season...but i am not liking this...Cs staring down the wrong side of history and running on fumes

Blame the refs all you want, but the Magix are playing with twice the intensity of the Celtics. ALL of the pressure on the Celtics if this goes to game 6.

There's still more than a half of basketball to be played, sir.

The refs screwed us early, but this run is due solely to sloppy play on behalf of the Celtics.  Ugly.

It's funny what happens when you give a team hope.

We'll see who's made of what tonight.

Our body language sucks. Can anybody step up? Big-time panic mode by everybody.

Rondo is not even trying to defend on Jameer... no excuses for him, he is killing us.

Did we forget how to play defense or something?
