Magic (0-2) at Celtics (2-0) Game 3 5/22

I don't know, Bynum4MVP, but while Artest is a great defender, he is no where in the same league as Lebron...Pierce will be able to get his shots against Artest.

Greenfaith, I do agree that he's not as good as Lebron when Lebron wants to stop somebody.

But overall, I'd say he's alot better defensively than Rashard, Barnes or VC.

Still early though, I'll leave you alone to discuss the Magic win; we'll pick this up again in a week.

I personally love embarrassing opponents, but this is too embarrassing, I feel sorry for the Magic. Can't the finals just come already? We can embarrass the Lakers all we want though. The more the merrier.

lakers will put kobe on rondo and he will get abused by rondo. bynum is gimpy. the key to the series is stopping gasol

Phil putting Kobe on Rondo to start the series sends a bad message to the team.  Phil's a great motivator, he's not going to take away Fisher's confidence right off the bat.  Giving Ray Allen good looks over Fisher isn't a good idea either.

And chasing around Rondo will just tire out Kobe and take away his offense.

Lakers can live with Rondo getting 30 points, they have favorable matchups against Ray Allen (Kobe), PP (Artest), KG (Pau), Perk (Bynum).

Look, do you really think that Pau will have his way with KG?

Let's see who KG has went up against since Mid-April:

Beasley/Haslem.

Jamison/Hickson.

Rashard.

And Pau? Jeff Green....Boozer....Amare.

Advantage: KG.

Ok..I was a little too punch-drunk with the win last night.

Boozer and Amare are certainly no slouches down low, I'll give Pau Gasol that. Boozer plays solid position defense, like Karl Malone did..Amare is an average defender, at best.

Boozer was only 6'9"..Jeff Green 6'9"..Amare 6'10"..Gasol had a height advantage with those three.

Gasol may be one of the most polished players right now, but he hasn't seen this KG since 2007-08.

this is unreal - if we close this series out monday, i think there is a decent chance we might have killed two teams (who happen to be the two best teams in the regular season). no doubt lebron is thinking about going elsewhere after the cavs went out with a whimper against us. and if we sweep the magic, i think its a given they will clean house this offseason. pretty crazy.
