ok, I'm finding it hard to make meaningful posts while things are good (it's easier to argue with the pessimists I guess!) so I wanted to make a thread where everyone can add something they love about the team this year - I'll go first

The emergence of Rajon Rondo as a leader.  We've known he was an alpha from last year's playoffs, but this is his team now.  Every game Rondo does something that amazes me on the court, but the thing that's impressed me the most is his poise and leadership

Rondo is a freak now. I'm not the first to say it but it really is his leadership and his quarterbacking of the team. he seems to always know now at what pace to go, where everyone should be, and what the hell is up with his jumper? he seems to be nailing the important shot every time now. he's headed to being a celtic all time great. if i could play like anyone in the world it would be this guy. His court vision and passing is just amazing. he is just such a pleasure to watch. I always feel like the celtics have a mental edge, even if we advance and face the lakers.kobe may be the best but rondo's brains are such a huge factor vs. any team.

BBD as a solid contributor!

Think how important he will be next rd against Odom, Gasol and Bynum.

just the way we turned it around in the playoffs we have looked better each game....I got the league pass and watched every game this season watched K.G in some games drag his leg around...watched big baby get blocked after he grabbed rebounds...it was hard to watch i almost lost hope after the game against the wizards....I have never seen a team get it together at the right time like this...its like a movie even seeing sheed playing and been a factor is crazy...

A patented Ray Allen buzzer beater three, especially with a hand in his face....swish....  ;D

The continued growth of Rondo.

Davis and Tony finding their roles and playing them beautifully.

The passion and confidence dripping off this team in the playoffs.

KG's determination to come back from a devastating injury.

...I can go on and on.

I absolutely love their gritty determination to prove everyone wrong.  ;)

I love that this team is a little mean and evil. They seem to be out to lay waste to entire franchises, not just win playoff series. We've already essentially ruined the Cavs franchise and thrown them into utter chaos, now we're halfway to decimating the dreams of another uber-hyped franchise and player. It's just the ruthless torching of teams that I love about this playoff run..

  • Rondo = Good
Watching the Western Conference Finals makes me really thankful that this team is so tenacious and unforgiving on defense.  I just love that...I watch the Suns play the Lakers and it seems like neither team is playing with the same kind of urgency.  It's like...this is the playoffs!  Make them work for every shot and every rebound!

The Suns look like a shaky little boy handing over his lunch money to the neighborhood bully, then turning around and bracing himself for a wedgie.

I'm happy and confident to say that no matter what happens the Celtics would never go out like that.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.
