For me, it was that siding fade away 3 against detriot in 07. We lost that game but seeing his emotion was unbelievable. Of course coming back out in game 6 in the finals because he was actually hurt and absolutely torched the lakers.
Thoughts?

For me nothing beats Ray's crossing Sasha's mug, reverse lay up in the NBA Finals.

Ray's 3 pointer to beat the Bobcats off the inbound steal is 2nd place.

Ray's series against the Bulls last year's playoffs is 3rd place.

One of his 2 great layups during the comeback in LA in the finals. Either the triple-pump reverse or when he beat Vujacic of the dribble and got to the rim before Gasol could really react.

The Charlotte one would be the best regular season one for me, though Pierce's role was big. That was insane.

Yeah your right about what he did to Sasha. A moment that will go down with many others in celtics finals history. This helps too

I heartily endorse this comment!

Those three would definitely my top three.

The super slow-mo one? I loved it. Are they still doing those slow-mo's? Haven't seen them this year.

Definitely his game 4 performance against the Lakers, he played the entire 48 minutes and had two huge and amazing layups (the reverse one that changed the momentum, and the one on Vujacic that sealed the win). His 7 threes in game 6 were fun too. Then I would say his performance against Chicago, with his two big threes in game 2 (including the game winner) and his 53 points in game 6.

TP for posting that. Great way to start the day.

Separate note - I LOVE when Ray puts down a dunk. Doesn't happen that often but you can tell he means business when he's slamming it through.

This thread is another reminder how lucky we are to see Ray and Paul and Kevin playing at this time in their careers. It's been just a great three years with these guys.

There have been too many clutch shots.

Although the Game 6 lay-ups in the finals were huge, I'd have to say Bulls game last year in the playoffs when he put up 51. I remember watching the game in disbelief of how many difficult shots that man made.

the bulls series was amazing, but it has to be the drive and layup on the lakers in the finals.

i think what i like best about him though, aside from his class and professionalism, is his FT shooting, especially at the end of games. having him at the line at the end of a game is such a weapon. helped us sunday, and hopefully more over the rest of the playoffs.

I've got to say that my favorite moment for Ray as a Celtic was when he stuck it to Sasha during the 07-08 Finals..we had already broken LA's spirits with that Historic Comeback in Game 4, then Ray proceeds to call for an ISO on Sasha - he just knew he could take him to the hole.

He cleared everyone else out..took a few dribbles, and blew right past him, LOL! He then proceeded to lay the ball up on the Opposite side of the rim, away from the outstretched hands of Pau Gasol.

And Then - to See Sasha go to the bench and cry..and pound that bench seat...Classic!!!

Any Laker Pain due to anything that The Boston Celtics do is Great, in my book. I respect LA, but hey.....

The two layups against the Lakers have to be the biggest as they plyed a GIGANTIC role in bringing us the championship...but those games against Chicago will be stuck in my head forever.  There was absolutely no reson for the ball to keep going in but he just did it over and over and over again.  Amazing.  Big ups to Ben Gordon for his play, too.

Ray seems to always come through when we really need him, never rattled

I'm going with the layups against the Lakers in the Finals, mainly the one where he blew by Sasha.
