You guys are all making great points about how the Cavs will play Rondo.  Basically, I see the Cavs doing their best to get the ball out of Rondo's hands and make the rest of the Celtics become distributors (instead of just getting set up by great Rondo passes).  I have a feeling Brown is going to mix up some lineups as well.  Something like Lebron, Moon, Jamison, Hickson and AV may be out there to have length at every position.

And, Greenbean, about KG, he just can't keep up on the 'roll.'  Hickson routinely beats him to the bucket once KG shows on Lebron.  And, with the floor spread, Perk can't rotate over fast enough either

Yeah Hickson was burning us on the roll but i cant remember if it was KG who was on the floor all those times. Either way, I think thats an adjustment that can be made. He cant really shoot right?.

Edit: I just want to reiterate that you are right. Those guys, with the exception of Jamison who cant guard any one, give us fits with match up problems. I just wanted to shout out KG as a great pick and roll defender. I couldnt let that one go.

Reported today that Lebron went through full contact practice with no elbow flare ups.  Should be good to go tomorrow and won't be wearing as extensive of a band as he has been over his elbow.

interesting....true hoop saying his injury is worse than being announced:

hree day breaks in between playoff games allow for plenty of storylines to develop and with that in mind, let’s take a quick look at all the injury updates, starting with Lebron.

First, we have a report from our TrueHoop friends over at Ball In Europe telling us, that they have a source telling them Lebron’s injury is much worse than believed:

The bombshell: A source close to the Cleveland Cavaliers who wished to remain anonymous has admitted that LeBron James should not playing with his injury in its current state. Apparently, the damage is enough that the right arm of King James – perhaps that should be “King Richard III” for the nonce – is having great difficulty in carrying anything heavier than a basketball.

The extent of the injury has been thus far been publicly diagnosed as “sprained elbow and bone bruise,” but with MRIs aplenty, a left-handed free throw attempt, and a 24-hour disappearing act in the very recent future, the tension builds over the MVP’s physical ability to play. Even after a “sudued” 41-minute, game-high 24-point performance.

The guys over at BIE stand pretty strong behind the report, so take it for what it’s worth. With that being said, Brian Windhorst, the best Cavs beat guy out there, confirms that the Cavs have shelved plans for another MRI on the elbow, via his twitter account earlier this afternoon. What that lack of an MRI means exactly, I have no idea, all I can say is I can’t wait for game 3 to come so some of this speculation can end.

yes....they linked it off the true hoop network of blogs:

now the plain dealer says everything is peachy like LBJ has been saying all a long...he made it through a practice today and it didnt give him problems.

i go back to game one...first quarter with james on the FT....you can see him mouth to himself "4 freakin' games....just 4 freakin' games". i do think the elbow his giving him some problems. i expect to see him go hero mode early on in game 3 to try to make a statement...BUT...if you have noticed in the first 2 games...LBJ has not really shot jumpers until the 3rd-4th quarters when he is fully warmed up.
