LeBron James is known for playing as more of a passer and shot creator early in games, taking over the scoring later in the game when his team needs him.

In Game 1 of this series, we saw Rajon Rondo score a ton of points in the first half.  He looked unstoppable.  But in the second half he slowed down - probably because he was really tired - and scored fewer than 10 points. 

Tonight, in Game 2, Rajon didn't score many points in the first half - but he racked up double digit assists, getting everyone involved.  All of our starters finished in double-digits, and even Rasheed had 17. 

I found myself thinking that what Rondo should do is play more like LeBron.  Try to get the other starters involved in the offense early, racking up assists and keeping the offense flowing.  Then, later in the game when the Big 3's old legs are starting to slow, use the stored up energy and attack the paint.  We need that energetic slashing late in games when the outside shots aren't falling. 

If Rondo could aim for a balance between that 10 assist first half passing and that 15-20 points in one half scoring, he could finish with 20 pts and 10 assists every night, and the Celtics would have a more reliable scoring option later in the game.
