Okay. Solidify the backup 1/2, ultimate jack-of-all-trades, defensive reputation and can fill every part of the stat sheet and hit it from every spot on the floor (especially in '89-'90)...

Fat Lever!
Excellent selection. I was talking to Roy up in the 2nd and 3rd round how I thought it strange that people were going nuts selecting PGs and letting quality bigs and other players stay on the board.

Told him my plan was to grad Fat Lever in the sixth but more quality larger players were still there and Fat was falling but so was Mark Price. Lever in the 8th round is a steal, IMHO.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I love the PGs selected in this round.  Blaylock, Lever, and of course Rondo are all guys who could be game-changers.

An underrated guy.  I loved those 90s Blazers teams.

Another good PG goes off the board.  I'd have him rated below the others, but not by a huge amount.

Ya, I had Rondo and Mookie above Strickland (admittedly, I know little about Lever besides what basketball-reference tells me), but I'm not upset to have him.
