I thought they missed about 4 shooting fouls on KG and Pierce in the 4th quarter alone.

And I wish those offensive interference calls were reviewable...they have the overhead cams and it's very hard to see in real time.

  • LETS DO IT AGAIN!
If you WATCHED the game PERK and PAUL and RONDO and GLEN and RAY got BS calls early and often.

This is garbage.
I am surprised we won in 2008.

Sheed played OK!

Really?!? That's why we had 25 and the Cavs had 31 ... that's why the guy who touched the ball more than anyone else only had one personal foul called against him! Please ... LeBron is so favored by the refs that's it's not even worth much discussion. The Celtics could have won this despite the officiating, (because of sloppy passing and missed lay-ups), but anyone who defends the refs after this one was just not watching the game very closely. Sorry.

I wouldn't call it a fix. It's just that the refs give the Cavs so many opportunities it's sickening. I feel like throwing up. I don't mind losing but why can't we lose FAIR AND SQUARE? Is it really too much to ask for?

*big sigh*

Yup, I agree ... very disheartening, (TP to soothe the pain, Bud).

I sure hope the C's team isn't being as pathetic in their locker room as we are on here tonight. Blaming the ref for our complete lack of defense on Mo Williams and Lebron is loser talk. That was not a poorly officiated game. We just decided we were in control and started making stupid decisions. They got hot. We wouldn't defend. Just like we have done 20-30 other times this year. That team is what we have seen all year. Blaming the refs for it is nonsense.

I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to watch the rest of these games. Not worth the anger it incites in me, far too reminiscent of 2002 Kings vs. Lakers series. But I'm such a die-hard fan I don't honestly know if I can pull myself away from the TV.

I am amazed nobody has done a report on the officiating in the media 9not just tonight but in general). I watch the NFL and you don't have this problem. NHL doesn't either. NCAA? Nope.

I'd rather be a loser than know that I can win games because people (the refs) help me win games. Now this loser is off to bed as it's past 5 am here.

Where were all you "the fix is in" guys in the first two games of the Miami series when teh Celtics took 55 foul shots and the Heat took 29?

we SHOULD have played the ENTIRE 48 minutes...yes...but the REFS made so many one-sided calls--it kept Clev in it---enough to steal it from us---tough for us to play a PERFECT game.

The offensive fouls on KG and Rondo in the 2nd--were HORRID, as was Pierce's 3rd foul...really had an effect on this game NO MATTER what CoachBOnehead says.

We were more aggressive. Simple as that. We were more aggressive in this game as well, our guys got destroyed driving into the paint with no call, God forbid you breath on James though.

I guess I should be glad I couldn't watch the game live. I heard some of the calls where ghastly. Why does the top seeded team need help from the refs against the underdog?  I don't understand this robbing the poor to feed the rich mentality at all. All I can say is we better get some of this homecooking in Games 3 and 4.
