Haha.  So self-centered.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

hahaha.  That's actually kind of funny, ya know, in a "seems like par for the course for Lebron" kind of way.  I'm a little surprised the ball boy didn't stop reaching his hand out for Lebron's warm ups.  After the second time Lebron dropped his stuff on the ground right in front of his outstretched and waiting hands I would have figured that the ball boy would have realized he was just gonna have to grab it off the ground anyway.

In all fairness, I don't think Lebron even realized what he was doing...or maybe he did.

I missed it. Did he say something?

Are you talking about him dropping his clothes? If so, have you ever watched KG and where he drops/throws his stuff?

That is just what NBA players do. The guys who grab their clothes are just happy to be there, and the players shouldn't have to worry about anything beyond getting into the game in accordance with the rules.

KG looks worse. He actually drops stuff on the court, making the equipment guy run out to get it. I don't care. I want the players concentrating on the game, not on how far some kid has to walk.

The kid collecting the clothes was a bit too aggressive. NBA players alway drop the clothes on the floor. Was that his first game?

You make a good point. The ball boy must have been new if he didn't know that players drop their warmups like that.

Hmmm...I think we're stretching here.  A lot of players just throw their garb around.  I'm not gonna get fired up about.

Seems to me that when people have a negative view of a player, they will look for every little thing to nitpick on.  When its one of their own, we blindly see through the shortcomings and wave them off.

It will make everything so much sweeter when he is home watching the conference finals on TV.  :)

Classless.

I guess most NBA players are just rude and entitled.  I notice that when they are handed a drink or towel they usually just grab it without saying anything to the person handing it to them.  It all seems rude me.  Does it kill them just to say the one syllable word "thanks"?

I also read somewhere that when nba players eat fruit in the locker room, they don't bother to walk to a garbage can with their banana peels and orange skins- they just throw them anywhere on the floor for someone else to clean up.

Classless.

As opposed to our players, who do the exact same thing (all NBA players do, as don pointed out)

why is lebron classless because this one particular ball boy didn't do what every other ball boy in the league does and wait for the player to check in and grab there crap off the floor?

Why aren't our guys classless when they do the exact same thing? If your advocating, like moiso, that ALL nba players do this and it's a bit classless, then I'd tend to agree. But why is lebron the one singled out here other than the fact most celtics fans don't like him?

I'm all for hating on lebron, but this takes stretching it to a whole new level  ::)

I'll side with Moiso on this one... TP to Moiso!

There's no reason for basketball players to be rude. LeBron isn't the only one.

That's what happens when you are rich and famous. You can slop around banana and orange peels and it's "all cool."

I easily hate lebron more than anyone on this board, but unfortunately I'll agree with several people on here...this isn't a reason why...

This has bothered me for quite a while though, it really is rediculous that guys can be so rude...

That being said, I will gladly hate on lebron any time!!!

And contrast that with Leon Powe who after the season was over gave hand written personal thank you notes to all the support staff at the garden including ball boys etc.
