Awesome to see.  If Pierce is his old self, Ray is clearly himself, and Garnett is something resembling his old self, with the new Rondo, and a much improved bench, this team clearly has a shot at #18.

Boston should look at Dorell Wright in free agency.

He is a very impressive young role player.

Much improved Bench? Over 2008 or last year?

2008 has the following bench guys: Posey (22), Brown (13.6), Cassell (12.6), Powe (11.7), (with House (7.9), BBD (8.1), and Tony Allen (4.3) seeing some time.)

2010 tonight Doc played: BBD (18), Tony Allen (14), Rasheed (10) and Finley (4).

I think the 08 bench was actually deeper in players Doc would use and more talented in the first guys off the bench.

We are building Momentum at the right time ;D.

I wish that it was 3 weeks ago, but I'll take it. This is the kind of run we need prior to playing CLE.

Man...beating CLE will break that team up. CLE fans will hate Boston forever - we could go down in History as the Team that Made Lebron Leave!

I know this series isn't over, but man it has been a Long time that Boston has been up 3-0 on someone.

Not since Bird, McHale and Chief.

A Laker loss tomorrow and Cav loss + Celtic sweep the following night would just make my weekend.

I have a feelin LA will be the last ones coming out the west, the more tired they get and CLE only helps our chances.

Yeah, I think that Durant has finally received Kobe's Attention now.

Kobe's Arrogant, but he'll be looking over his shoulder for Durant for next few games.

I would almost move Durant to Shooting Guard, just to see how LA reacts.

LA has their hands full. They'll probably win the series, but OKC is certainly roughing them up.

LA doesn't look so unbeatable now..as a matter of fact, they look a little old.

I don't feel so bad for what Durant did to us a few weeks ago, now.

The man is the Real Deal, for Real.

Sorry to divert the thread, Folks.

GO CELTICS!! Awesome Win with a Capital "A"!!

Great win and a fun game to watch.  That take down of Perk by O'Neal and the take down of KG by O'Neal were both bad calls as was the time when Wade ran into Rondo's back and Rondo was called for the foul.    I feel bad though complaining about having Salvatore as a ref.  Mavs/Spurs had BOTH Bavetta and Joey Crawford.   They got the double whammy!

The two times when Pierce went into ISO mode and was dribbling down the clock I started yelling NOOO I hate Pierce ISO's where he usually dribbles down the clock and then drives into 3 or 4 defenders in the lane and never gets the call and usually gets stripped.  How nice to see him pull up for the jumper and hit both of them.  Maybe you can teach old dogs new tricks

Just finishing watching via the DVR. Nice win.
Pierce was sensational. How does Wade run into Rondo and get the call? (Oops, Stern is going to track me down now).

The volume is a bit low but I'm so grateful to whoever uploaded the CSN-NE version on youtube. A buzzer beater is just not the same without a Mike "for the game GOT IT!"
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Yeah, he'd be a solid player. I do wonder what Danny will do with the MLE....

I went "on a boat" Friday. The boat went around this lake and I'm not sure what it was. Still, I loved it. Was worth the trip, even though I missed the game.

That said, I saw the game this morning on ESPN3.com, and I just screamed "YES!" when Pierce hit that buzzer beater, but I had to check myself cause I thought some suitemates may have heard me. I suppose those couple of drinks The Truth took the night before wasn't a big deal after all, huh? :-D

Oh yeah, Heat got some shots, but I saw some loose balls when the Heat were on offense. Clearly the Celtics defense was disruptive, and if they continue that on Sunday, they sweep.

Oh yeah, and TPs for all for this win. :D
