Larry Sandersssss. In a few years he could be deadly with Rondo.

I realize he is a project player but I think this is the right time to draft a project as we know rookies don't play their first year lol

19th pick historically has not had good outcomes. It may be cursed  :(

Scot Pollard   1997
Pat Garrity   1998
Jamaal Magloire   2000
Zach Randolph   2001
Aleksandar Pavlovic   2003
Dorell Wright   2004
Hakim Warrick   2005
Quincy Douby   2006
Javaris Crittenton   2007

Hopefully DA won't pick a dud (not necessarily duds but just ppl coach won't play) like he has the past 2 years. There have been numerous awesome picks in the range 20-30 over the past 15 years:

@ 21: Michael Finley, Boris Diaw, Nate, Rondo!
@ 23: Tayshaun Prince, Travis Outlaw
@ 24: Delonte West
@ 25: Al Harrington, Gerald Wallace, TA
@ 26: K-Mart
@ 27: Perk!
@ 28: Tony Parker, Leandro Barbosa
@30: A Varejao

19th overall pick has really had a tough history...

1980: Joe Duren 712 pts
1981: Mike McGee 4468 pts
1982: Rob Williams 1319 pts
1983: John Paxton 5560 pts
1984: Bernard Thom9son 1078 pts
1985: Steve Harris 1440 pts
1986: Billy Thompson 2566 pts
1987: Ken Norman 8717
1988: Rod Strickland 14463 pts
1989: Kenny Payne 508 pts
1990: Dee Brown 6758 pts
1991: LaBradford Smith 1218 pts
1992: Don Maclean 3490 pts
1993: Acie Earl 980 pts
1994: Tony Dumas 1140 pts
1995: Randolph Childress 405 pts
1996: Walter McCarty 3056 pts
1997: Scott Pollard 2222 pts
1998: Paul Garrity 4017 pts
1999: Quincy Lewis 567 pts
2000: Jamaal Magliore 4841
2001: Zach Randolph 10141 pts
2002: Ryan Humphrey 197 pts
2003: Sasha Pavlovic 2488 pts
2004: Dorell Wright 1333 pts
2005: Hakim Warrick 3859 pts
2006: Quincy Douby 588 pts
2007: Javaris Crittenton 595 pts
2008: JJ Hickson 935 pts
2009: Jeff Teague 228 pts

Great news, especially in a draft so loaded with athletic 4s projected to go in the middle of the 1st round.  Damion James is probably the best short-term fit talent wise: athletic 3/4 who can rebound, run the floor, finish strong, hit 3s, defend pretty well and play a role right away (he's a senior who's played off-the-ball for most of his career).

Ekpe Udoh would be great if he slides, but I can't see someone with his tools slipping past 15.

Larry Sanders and Hassan Whiteside look great on paper but they may have too much bust-potential.

Stanley Robinson has finally developed into a fairly efficient offensive player and his defensive potential is pretty solid.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Whoever we do end up getting had better play next year. I don't care if he's a project or has a torn ACL. He had better play. 19 is a GOOD pick. Not amazing, but you can find quality players here no less.
