  • It's not hard to work hard.
Rose is one of the few starting players who averages fewer fouls per 48 minutes than Lebron, who is about 1.6 fouls per. I think Tayshaun Prince is another.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Doc kind of wanted to win this game tonight, but having Nate in at the end says he reallly did not want to win it that badly. And, while our backcourt has gotten torched tonight, I really am starting to not like our big guys at all. Perk, Davis and Sheed are all pretty much useless. Honestly, KG, on one leg, is playing far better than all of them. Next year, with this frontcourt, is going to be scary.

Max - the refs had NOTHING to do with the outcome of this game tonight. Be real.

Well, no matter what anyone says about this season, it's ALL about our SCORING DROUGHTS.....we had 2 HORRIBLE ones again tonight, once in the 2nd--then to start the 4th....been the STORY OF THE YEAR.

I think Coaching lost this game.  Terrible timing and substitutions.  Celtics, under Doc, are terrible at handling the high pick and roll.  You'd think after being associated with the NBA for close to 25 or so years would enable Doc to learn how to deal with this.

Would have liked to have seen Rondo and Tony Allen in towards the end.

  • Rondo = Good

...and it's going to be an ugly series.  Dwyane Wade could single-handedly beat the C's.

I'm not too fond of watching Chicago fans and bench celebrating like that.  Our guys inspire no fear or awe, and I'm not sure who they can intimidate any more.

Perhaps they will find some of the determination they brought to the Bulls series last year.
