for what it is worth...

this year for minnie, millie's stats are...

24:41 minutes
8 points/g
5.6 rebounds/g
1.4 blocks/ g

not terrible. if the celtics could pick him up for nothing ora bag of basketballs, then why not do it?

My hunch is that his ego has always been bigger than his game.  He'll stay in the NBA, I think, if a team promises him playing time 30+ mpg(last thing I read).  What good team would do that?

I'm more worried about a backup 3 than a backup big.

I suppose I would give Darko a look if that makes you feel any better... but as IP said I think he's either back to Europe or sticking with the TWolves.

As far as a backup 3, what about signing Michael Redd??

Assuming he's healthy by the time  of start of next season.

So essentially, if Marquis or Finley leaves, and we sign Redd.
Redd  would be replacing one of those guys.

Redd has a big-money option for next year, which he will most definitely exercise.  He's not on the table.

Oh ok, my-bad I thought he was a free agent in the summer. ( i thought it was a team-option) and figured they'd decline picking up that option.

guess I should double checked.

Bump. As we learned in this past series, you cannot teach height or length. Milicic is a legit 7 footer with some skills. I'd like to bring him on to replace Sheldon, or possibly even Rasheed if he retires.
