7 minutes for Nate and he didn't take a single shot... I don't care if he is off, he MUST look for his offense in his limited minutes or he won't be part of the rotation again. I hope he doesn't turn into Marbury, aka "I'm afraid to shoot the ball"?

I would look towards the coach, but Sam Cassell took about 3 shots per minute.  ;D

What's the deal with Nate Robinson?  He was such a gunner in New York - a pretty good one too - and now he never seems to take a shot in a Celtics uniform unless he absolutely has to.

One would think it's somehow the coach who's told him to be more of a ball handler and less of a scorer, but everything we've heard from the coaching staff is they want him to go out and look for his own shot.  It's not often that you have a problem persuading a player to do that!

I just don't get it.

Yeah, it seams a messy situation. From what I understand they dont want him to just be an outside gunner looking for his shot. Try going inside first, either through penetration or the post. Then go to the outside jumper.

Doc mightbe messing with his head a little too much though... :-/

Pre game Dickerson said that in an interview with Nate, Nate said that his trying to learn the defensive system and play within it correctly is effecting his offense. He said it is the most difficult defensive system he's ever had to learn and that he's having a lot of trouble with it.

Rondo and Perk are playing some of the worse defense I have seen either player play all year.

Atrocious defense by both.

Earl Barron looks thicker than I remember him. He's added a bit of muscle to that skinny frame.

It looks like he's developed his game too. More comfortable on the ball and a solid shooting touch.

I know, I heard that, I just don't really get how learning a defensive system would make you hesitant to take a shot on the other end.

Fun game, but man are our guys not taking it seriously - lots and lots of forcing low-percentage passes.  Need to start clamping down and get some separation so we don't have to sweat this out in the 2nd half.

This defense is disgusting.

It's kind of what the Knicks do, though. Ray can be smoked off the dribble by Sergio, but Ray has scored a ton of points on the other end. David Lee usually has a similar story, but his help D looks good tonight.
