Your biggest good surprise of the season :I have been plesantly suprised with how durable Kevin has been this season. He can still get it done in the paint when he needs to but he learned to adapt his game in order to maximize the long-gevity of his legs. The man can stand at the equivilent of the college three-point line and just drill the majority of the jumpers he takes from there even though he was drafted straight from high-school. He still has one of the best turn-around jumpers in the league and wasn't afraid to keep making alley-oops this season even though he injured himself last year in an alley-oop attempt. I'm hoping to see maybe even more of the old (younger) Kevin in the playoffs since by now he must be alot less afraid to use his hops now that we are playing in elimination series('s). Back during his Minnesota days he was notorious for being one of the best shot-blockers in the league and was recording plenty of highlight blocks early this season.
Your biggest bad surprise of the season :I was hoping to see more varied offensive production from Rondo. While Rondo is hands down one of the best at getting into the paint and finishing (doesn't travel like LeBron

) I was hoping he'd use some of that mindset and instead of going into the key and trying a fancy lay-up while avoiding the other team's frontcourt I was hoping he'd instead take some opportunities to just stop maybe even right before he gets into the paint and just take an open (or semi-contested) jumper when one is available. Rondo is a good shooter, he has made plenty of circus shots for us at the ends of games, quarters and even to bail us out at the end of a shot clock and he did as well as we could've hoped for in the horse competition (second place - not bad) so if he could continue to look for more places on the court (whether within or right around the key or easier, open 3-pt looks) to take jumpers from it can't hurt. Some of our guys could possibly even bail him out with an offensive rebound here or there if there is any noticable slack in Rondo's shooting percentage as he takes more jumpers but only he knows which shots he is truly the most comfortable taking. Rondo is a great playmaker so his ability to find easier and easier ways to get the ball into the basket is crucial for us.
The player who surprised you the most (in a good way) :Paul Pierce
The player who disappointed you the most :Marquis Daniels
The worst loss of the season :The last time we played the Hawks because they are 4-0 against us this season
The newest addition - either signed this summer or acquired/signed during the season - that pleased you the most :Rasheed Wallace - He, Like the Big 3 have beaten the Lakers in the NBA Finals before.
The newest addition - either signed this summer or acquired/signed during the season - that disappointed you the most :Marquis Daniels - I was hoping that we could add Allen Iverson as a bench scorer this season. unfortunately, the only team that was willing to pick him up at the beggining of this season was the Grizzlies and he was shooting a much better percentage than his career average as a role-player for them. Iverson also is a great distributor of the ball, though he lacks size.
Your favorite player to watch this season :Ray Allen/Paul Pierce - I think they are still the best SG/SF combo in the league
The player that has become a favorite of yours this season while it was not the case before :Kendrick Perkins
The player that has lost some credit for you this season while he was one of your favorite(s) before :Scalabrine - Though he helped us out immensly in the Chicago series last year this season he has been missing most of his 3-pt attempts (badly in some cases).
The member of the Big Three who did the best job this season :Paul Pierce - he has improved his 3 pt shooting immensely and can still beat you off of the dribble and get a lay-up, dunk or just get to the line.
The "classic" Celtics plays that make you jump of your seat in joy/excitement :Paul Pierce fade-aways in close games, Kendrick Perkins dunks, Kevin Garnett blocks, Ray Allen wide open behind the line and Glen Davis working the glass.
The "classic" Celtics plays that make you "facepalm" and sigh in despair :Rasheed Wallace technicals, for sure.
The best play of the season :Kevin Garnett's vintage game-winner over the Knicks. He took that jumper from the same spot Michael Jordan took his most famous game-winner over the Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals, 'cept Garnett is taller than MJ so it's much more difficult to gaurd him all the way out there
