Paul, little word of advice here;

Don't, wear, salmon.

Salmon is no color for a suit.

Thank you.

haha, I'm surprised there wasn't more comments on this from all-star weekend... the salmon suit is def not a good look for the captain.

AWESOME! Perk with the "in your face FT's" and Rondo with the buzzer three! Hilarious haha, lovin' it! In your face Cleveland.

And I like KG with his arms in the air before Rondo's shot went in. Great first half, let's keep it up in the 2nd!

I think most of the 3's Rondo has hit this year have mostly been buzzer beaters, he's such a better shooter when he has no time to think about his shot and just does it. Eventually, I think he'll learn to just shoot in the flow of the game and not put much thought into it - I have no question he can develop some real consistency there, just needs to NOT think about it!

Yeah, I've noticed it too, Rondo seems to hit 90% of his shots at the buzzer or after the whistle. His problem is purely mental.

I was hoping that performance at the H.O.R.S.E. competition would have removed any mental block he had. But hey, I'm a fairly patient dude, it's coming along rather nicely.

I hoped it too but I guess Rondo just can't break this mental barrier in games situation, because HORSE is not really a in game situation.

This whole "halftime" guy has been our biggest foe this year. It terrifies me.

I got the same problem as Rondo has, in games. According to my coach, I have the best shot on my team. I finish at least third or second in shooting games amongst my squad, first a lot of the time.

But in games... Just the confidence.

It is not just trusting your shot; it is more about trusting your shot over passing to someone else, driving, or any other action you can take.

It's trusting your decision making skills.

That was a nice little feature. A little bit corny but pretty cool.

A Rondo commercial? :O

I'm definitely looking that up on youtube. That's going into my favorites.

Is the NBA going to finally push him as the star of this team?

Yeah, I understand it. My best friend is starting point guard for our rec squad (I'm the starting 2) and he's a great shooter, but put him in a game.... man all he's good for is his great passing and D. I'm glad I've never experienced it, I don't think I'd have the patience :P Been a shooter since I could hold the ball ;)

In game, you can see him debate sometimes - "Should I pass it? Should I drive? Should I shoot?" And more often than not, he'll over dribble and backrim it. But on the rare occasions when he just runs up the court and pulls up with no hesitation, it goes in at a higher rate. Its def mental at this point, he's improved his form so much from last season and I think he'll continue to work on the mechanical aspects of it in the offseason. But like you, I'm also patient. He'll get over that hump eventually.
