Nuggets played last night, we should win this game.

I feel it will be close though.

Amazing what a difference 2 1/2 years makes. On Nov 7, 2007, The C's held a 39 point lead a half time over the Nuggets!

And now we anticipate a very tight game at home, despite Denver coming in off of a back to back. (granted the earlier blowout was when Denver had Iverson in place of Billups)

I really want to see the C's come out and win by double digits! GO Celtics!!

i am going back to the reverse jinx. i went positive for the utah game. boston struggles vs the nuggs
If you say it's a reverse jinx, that jinx is negated. You have to say it then convince everyone that you are serious for that to work.

On a completely unrelated note I think the Nuggets will be too much for the C's to handle. C's get wafflestomped.

The real trick is that you have to convince yourself somehow that you did not consciously try to elicit a reverse jinx purposefully.  Very tricky business.  Reminiscent of Douglas Adams theory on How to Fly from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:

Quote
There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss...

The first part is easy. All it requires is simply the ability to throw yourself forward with all your weight, and the willingness not to mind that it's going to hurt.

That is, it's going to hurt if you fail to miss the ground. Most people fail to miss the ground, and if they are really trying properly, the likelihood is that they will fail to miss it fairly hard.

Clearly, it is the second part, the missing, which presents the difficulties.
Ha ha great response tp.

Anybody want tickets to tonights game for face value $38 a piece?  I know it starts soon.  It's my birthday, I have a family dinner and forgot I still have them (I'm a season ticket holder, but broke so need money!)

They are great seats - section 317, row 8 - next to center court.

I'll do this on the honor system.  Tell me you want them, I'll call the box office and have them reserved for you.  After you enjoy the game, come home and paypal send me $76 or PM me for my home address and send me a check.

TP FL (and snow is white.)

Guys, if you want something fun to read, check these comments out:
http://www.denverstiffs.com/2010/3/24/1388123/game-72-preview-thread-nuggets-at#comments

It just so happens to appear that our adversaries are scared of us and, most notably, seemingly even more frustrated with their team than we are with ours.

Who would've thought: we might be old, battered and bruised, but these guys really look up to our squad, for some reason. They think we play boring basketball, but they do think we're good.

Anyway, it's funny to see that they're frustrated, in a way that it's funny to see that your neighbor has issues keeping his grass green.

I hope not though they have not looked good on first games back home after trips.

Staying positive though, I see a good tough win.

Or a good tough loss.

Or a blowout.

In either direction.

Yeah, I'm going to narrow it down and say it will be one of those four things. ;D

Oh well.

We'll see. I'm most displeased with: Bavetta.

Especially since I saw this comment over at the Denver Stiffs blog:

Quote
Doesn't Bavetta have a hard-on for Carmelo?
