Now Sheed is guarding Blatche.

Blatche's best asset in creating his own shot is his quickness + mobility.

Why are the Celtics defending him with their less mobile big men?

Garnett has looked a little dodgy on a few of those box outs.

He has gotten the ball but he hasn't looked comfortable doing it.

There's a rumor that he can now raise his hands over his head ... but you know how gossip goes. ;)

I don't think Scalabrine is a good option tonight. He's not good enough or big enough to handle Blatche defensively in the post + Singleton can guard him easily on the perimeter on the other end of the floor and would have a massive rebounding advantage. Singleton isn't an offensive threat so Scal wouldn't have much impact there.

I think Scal gets outplayed by a large margin by either of these players. I don't think Scal does anything to slow either one of them down.

Not good matchups for Scal tonight.

I missed the first half....why are we trailing? I mean, are we playing bad..is it officials...or is Washington playing some inspired basketball?

I still think KG would do a better job than Perk or Sheed though.

Anyway, maybe we'll see the matchup later in the game. See how Garnett does then.
