I think that's what they said on NBATV, I caught the tail end. He is done for the year I think. There goes Denvers title hopes.

I wonder if they will offer Big Z the full MLE to see if they can lure him away from Cleveland?

Sigh.  That really sucks...Denver looked like they could go all the way this year.  Have to hope for the Mavs to keep up their great play then.

Why can't this kind of stuff happen to the Lakers or the Cavs?

Terrible news for Denver. Their frontcourt was quite thin as it was. I can't think of anyone waived who could help them much. Tough luck.

b/c of his playing days in NJ during the 2002 season, I still have a hard time feeling "bad" for him.  Not happy about it, but the only thing that sucks to me is that the Lakers will have an easier time.

dang, I remember watching him play bball for my local college (UC) when I was in middle school...I was hoping that a fully healthy Nuggets squad would pose a more serious threat to the Lakers this post-season, but yeah I didn't catch too many games from his NJ Nets days...back then the East was so weak that the Nets made it to the Finals twice and lost to the Lakers in 4 and the Spurs in 6. The year Allen Iverson won league MVP and made it to the finals the Lake-Show only lost one playoff game that season (game 1 of the finals). Hopefully the Celtics stay healthy and have an easier shot at a ring this season.

I dream of that every night...that and James trying to dunk..falling down hard after missing the dunk...breaks his leg and the Nike executives having a heat attack coz of that.  ;D

Just gotta throw this out there. Those of you wishing injuries on other teams players are pretty pathetic. Especially who ever it was who wanted LeBron to tear his ACL. You would have to be a complete dumb ass to ever wish that on someone. I tore mine out (along with my MCL and meniscus) over 2 years ago playing basketball and I still haven't recovered, in fact I might have to have another reconstruction surgery very soon. You all need to check yourselves.
