ok, let's hit reset like it's an 80's Nintendo game.  the season starts again Tuesday with Detroit.  We take it one game at a time, never overlook an opponent.  Make all players and coaches accountable for wins and losses and most importantly stay calm.  There are bumps in every road, but it's time for the Celtics and their fans to recommit to this thing, brush the dirt off our shoulders and start it up.

what other choices do we have? complain til our bellies and heads hurt?  We can't trade anyone, firing a coach at this point is shortsided, reactionary and plain stupid imo, no really significant free agents to pick up - we have a team with 4 all-star calibre players, a coach who has won coach of the year with a much weaker team and an NBA title.  It's time to reset

Hear hear! I've discovered it really is easier to watch the games when I pretend the previous game never happened. TP

Before you turn it back on take the cartridge out and blow on it a few times.

I could a make joke but won't

I think we all thought the same thing - actually this is off topic, but I bought a top loading system, some random company makes them, and all my old games have come back alive, it's great and worth the 30 bucks or so for it

This is the only way to approach the rest of the season, because looking back right now is too painful. However, unless someone gives the players the same message and tells them they need to play with a purpose and not be "bored" anymore, as Perk told us all they are, not much is going to change. It is all up to the players now.

Still got one. Still have the original "Lakers vs Celtics" game from EA too.

Celtics fans are no strangers to slumps and disappointment, if we can stay positive through losses like Red, Reggie, Len, and DJ, we can certainly deal with losing to the Nets without our star player on the floor. Bring on the Pistons.  ;)

Even if they go on a good run the next few games I'm going to keep an even keel. I'll want to see how long it will last.

Yes, In a way I'm just happy to have a reason to be disappointed
that the team isn't living up to my expectations. For so many years I had NO expectations at all.
