I like the Nets putting Courtney Lee on Rajon Rondo. That is a good idea.

It's fairly [dang]ing of Devin Harris though. He's a very talented defensive player who couldn't be bothered to put some effort in defensively. Two and a half years now since he lasted played high quality defense consistently.

Harris was the first player to quit on the season for the Nets. The rest of the team followed his lead. A dreadful season from Harris. More because of his lack of leadership + lack of mental toughness than anything else.

Man, the refs are terrible at calling clear path fouls too - add it to the list.

Big minutes for Nate coming up here, let's see if he can find a groove with the starters.

Yeah, as long as they win, two quick fouls on Rondo could be a blessing in disguise.

Last couple of possessions have been horrible for Nate.

Good timeout here by Doc.  Need to regroup.

Nate Robinson the point guard.

This is worrying. Just be yourself.

At least the usual blown lead collapse happened earlier in this game, in the first quarter. :P

Let's refocus and play smarter, we are too predictable offensively.

Don't normally see these early starts on a Saturday.

No, not at all. Very unusual. Just happened to see this thread getting a lot of hits.  Low and behold, the game had already started.   :P

C'mon, this "going through the motions" deal is really getting old.

My goodness, the look of surprise from Sheed as he was wide open in the middle of the paint.

Terrible defense by Yi. He's a dreadful player. Very disappointing that he hasn't figured things out.

Anybody else think Rondo looks ticked off/disinterested? When he was in the game, he just looked angry and now he is loungin at the end of the bench, not looking interested in whats going on.

Yeah he kind of picked his second foul intentionnally to sit in my opinion.

I like Kris Humphries on this team. The Nets have four useful players -- Harris + Lee + Hump + Lopez.

It would be great if Terrence Williams could become the fifth good player. He has an interesting skill-set. More of a guard than a wing though.

CDR is a decent player too. He's a poor fit alongside Lee though. Five and a half players. And a couple of band aids (Dooling, Hassell, Simmons).

Brook Lopez is an overrated player. He is good at a lot of things but very good-to-excellent at nothing.

A third best player type on a good team.

He pads his stats heavily on this poor Nets team.
