I've been thinking lately of a player that we could sign from a buyout and none have been boughtout that I think are good enough...

And then it hit me tonight, why don't the C's have Ty Lue come out of retirement and be the backup pg and have Nate as the 2?

That is if Ty Lue wants to come out of retirement.

I wonder if Lue is really done. If the C's were going to sign him, why havent they done it already?

That's what I think, but I wouldn't mind the C's signing him though if he isn't.

He already works for the celtics....remember they signed him as a type of front office worker, and the assumption was that they did that to sneak him in without having to use a roster spot/salary cap, and then mid season they would have him join the team....guess that went really far

Just because the topic isn't about the C's getting their behind handed to them tonight doesn't mean it's not a good topic to discuss.

Then with all due respect, make a topic about a player we can buyout who actually CAN help us.

I mean really, Ty Lue? Stephon Marbury would be a better choice, smoking weed and swalloing vasoline before the game or not.

You tell me someone that is bought out and that can help us right now?...

Oh wait there aren't any right now and Ty Lue is the best bet.

Ty Lue? What is he going to do? I thought they traded for Nate Robinson to be the backup point?

Thing is, we don't need another PG. I'd rather Nate do it. I don't know why Doc isn't letting that happen.

Ty Lue being in the front office doesn't mean he's our best bet. It just means he's retired.

Who would be our best bet then?  Just wondering your opinion because I can't think of anybody.

Nate? Who's already on our team?

I guess I didn't say that clearly enough.

Wow everyone seems a little snarky after the loss. I think Ty Lue has probably practiced a few times with the team and Doc decided he did not have enough left in the tank to help out. If he was going to join the team it probably would have at least been rumored by now.
