I friend of his was traded, a friend that he went to war with for 2 1/2 years

Eddie House is a respectable guy and Rondo is just short of 24 years old and has never forged a long term relationship before only to have his friends traded away(I'm not counting his rookie season as he only had that one year with those guys)

He's more saddened at the loss of a friend than he is happy for the addition of a player that will make the team slightly better
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

I'm not ready to "assume" a soap opera is brewing until Nate actually gets with the team.

Well this doesn't sound too good.

I am sure the media is just trying to cause something like usual. They will be fine .

That's a two-for-one for Nate, take out Rondo AND a ref. too much to resist.

I'm more concerned about his possible violent behavior towards his teammates than his opponents at this point in time.

good---I hope he doesnt like him. I also hope nate comes in and is on fire. You think lester hudson gave you a a good work out, I like to see these guys practicing.  Maybe rondo takes it to another level.  Nothing like competition to burn the ol fires.  I wanna see rondo grow up a little more and take the next big step to being the dominant monsta baller I think he's holding back.

Rondo and Nate could potentially be the most lethal PG + backup PG combination in the NBA. With Nate's fresh young legs coming off of the bench to help disrupt the other team's defense Rondo will have more time to rest and thus be more effective when he is actually in the game. Nate might receive some criticism if he isn't effective defensively though.

Nate and Rondo could be the most thugish pare of points in the NBA. Remember Rondo against the Bulls last year. If Nate hits Hinrich into that table he would have gone over it.

Since when is Rondo "thugish"?

Because he got into it with another player during a tough playoff series? Because of a hard foul on Brad Miller?

Rondo is legit thugish, and I'm glad about it, we need more thugs on the team

I want to see Rondo and Nate playing together, even though they might give quite a bit of size playing together. That could be fun to watch, and illogically effective.

Rondo is legit thugish, and I'm glad about it, we need more thugs on the team

Don't forget the fight he almost got into with Rafer Alston in 2008. He's definitely a thug in disguise
